I was on some site b4 and came across a Peruvian team called Deportivo Wanka. Does anyone else know of any strange or funny names for football clubs?

That's a team to be proud to play for!
No dodgy crowd chants there - except it probably doesn't mean the same thing in their language and some English names could be funny to foreigners too. Oh well...
How about Jef United

Beat 1, Freedom 0
AP - Jun 28, 8:41 pm EDT
ATLANTA (AP) -- Charmaine Hooper scored in the second minute and Briana Scurry posted her fourth shutout of the season as the Atlanta Beat edged the Washington Freedom 1-0 on Saturday night.
Atlanta (6-2-4) took sole possession of first place in the WUSA, one point ahead of Boston, with the victory in game delayed for 36 minutes in the first half because of lightning.
Hooper's goal matched the fastest in Beat history. Cindy Parlow scored in the second minute against Philadelphia in a 2001 game.
The shutout was Scurry's 17th in WUSA play.
Washington dropped to 5-4-2.

What about Arsenal! rofl! Here's another great one... Liverpool! What a stupid name... sounds like a bunch of no hopers who haven't won a league forever but still harp on about how great they were.
