hello everybidy.

i want to get my ps2 chiped. i want to play we7 when it comes out and the patches im realy into. but im scared of having my ps2 chiped cause i hear that most chiped ps2s goes wrong so im just saying is this true. i am a porper if i get it done then messes up i cant afford another. so please can i have your advice.

RETOUR!!!!! I got my PS2 chipped in Bowlers it's in Manchester (scum of the earth) it's proper shite i tell thee. Within 3 weeks of getting the messiah put in the bastard broke!!! My advice to u is sell the PS2 u have now and buy one that is pre-chipped for £210-220. A good website is www.psxrepairs.co.uk

It does depend where you get it done, I had to send mine way up North somewhere but I got a guarentee that if it broke down within the first year I could get it repaired free, but after that there would be a charge depending on the nature of the repair.

But Craiiig is right pre-chipped would be a good option, but make sure you check the fine print.

And Craiig what are you doing with a Liverpool badge? your a Saints man :p

Craiiig - a good method much to the dispare of many is the slide card. it works brilliant for me whilst playing we6fe. no funny noises and no harm to your laser. and your warranty is not void if you've had it less than a year (UK WARRANTY) it doesnt harm the laser unless you use poor or unbranded disc which strain the laser to work harder and read more.

Craaaiiiig David can i get a REWIND!!!!! Mikeom1 i use to support the Saints but me and our Kez got banned from St.Mary's after our Kez flew onto the pitch and had a shat on that Chris Marsden. I like Chris Marsden he's got a bastard big head!!!! Jag87, what is a slide card as i have heard about them before. Another good method is a flip lid for £30 it makes your PS2 look like a PS1.

I have the flip top lid and its fine. No probs at all. And i can still play other games and PS2 Online works fine. I would recommend the flip top to every1. Easy to install as well.
