I always thought Veron would be good in the Barcelona squad.

Davids looks likely to stay at Barca

Barca set to bow to Davids demands (http://www3.sbs.com.au/premier/index.php3?id=46744)

nah i dont think so i think its just a case of him being crap at bayern munich anyhow he isnt too old and is still the best german player of his generation.

I quite liked Veron when he arrived, and then when he was playing regularly he played really well.

He excelled in the 4-4-2 diamond/4-3-3 formation Ranieri employed against Lazio (4-0 and Newcastle (5-0). Him and Duff were both given free roles and they caused havoc with the defences.

Since then though he's been injured, and has been called a waste of money, as every injured player at Chelsea has been this season.

Hopefully he'll recover some form at Inter, turn into the player he was at Lazio then we'll bring him back.

When he was at United, he started off impressively and then went off the boil. Same kind of start at Chelsea although faded out through injury as you say. Maybe he'll be able to be a bit more consistent for Inter and stay out of the wars.

He's much more suited to the Italian style of football, so hopefully he'll do well there. I can see him playing well for Inter.

Most players dont succeed at inter so i think its a long shot to say that veron will
