This might already be a thread i apologize it it is. Anyway i was looking at some site and it said that Dr Dre is a big Liverpool fan Dre (http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/archivedirs/news/2001/nov/1/N98586011101-1112.html) and it got me thinking which other celebs enjoy the sport.

he wasnt an outlaw by then, he was just fighting to free afghanistan from communism, but now if a reporter is stupid enough to go to him ( even if he located him ) just to ask him what team he supports that would be real funny, he used to be a casillionaire before the US freezes his stocks

Alan Davies of "Johnathen Creek" fame is a Gooner. BBC showed him chanting with the rest of the fans in the UEFA Cup final a few years ago against Galatasaray.

Atletico Madrid have an innovative shirt sponsorship deal with Colombia Tristar. On the front of their shirts they show the latest blockbuster movie that the company are wanting to promote, where the sponsorship titles change throughout the season, hence the celebrity supporters.

Newcastle Fans
Tony Blair - Admitted he was a Newcastle 'supporter' when football started to become trendy. Put his foot in his mouth big time when he said he used to sit in the Gallowgate End as a child and watch the legend that is Jackie Milburn. Couple of problems with that, 1 - The Gallowgate was terraced back when Jackie Milburn played and 2 - Jackie Milburn retired 3 years before Tony Blair was born. Our Primeminster a liar! :o well I never!
Sting - The bendiest man in pop is a Newcastle fan
Robson Green - The twat that took elecution lessons because he didn't like his northern accent supports us too.
Ant and Dec - Help me Duncan! I cannae see! Goes without saying really.
Cheryl Tweedy - Been seen at quite a few toon matches.
Jonny Wilkinson - The only respectable one out of the lot.

I've also seen Tim Henman wearing a Newcastle top when playing football but i'm not sure if he supports us.

That was Simon Crabtree, who commentates on local radio station Metro FM for us. After we beat them, he said "Ant and Dec... Sting... Alan Shearer... Sir John Hall... Jimmy Nail, Donna Air, Bobby Robson... Robson Green... Jackie Milburn... Tony Blair, can you hear me Tony Blair, your boys have taken one hell of a beating!

Despite commentating on Sunderland, Crabbers is actually a Preston fan, although he has adopted Sunderland as his second team. Some of his quotes are legendary like, such as "Its the Poominator, he'll be back" after Poooooom scored, and so on.

And the Chuckle Brothers Man Utd fans? They're Rotherham fans man. They even done an episode where they got signed for Rotherham when they were short of players and Barry scored an own goal in the last minute.

If anyone wants the clip of Crabbers Tony Blair antics, or the Poom commentary, I've got it, like.
