You gotta go and see Big Fish. I actually shed a tear at the end (which hasn't happened for a long time!). Tim Burtons only bad film (and it's mot really that bad, just not nearly as good as the original) is Planet of the Apes. It's just not Burton, it doesn't feel like his work. Edward Scissor hands has got to be one of the best films ever. Don't even get me started on Mr. Depp. A great, great man.

Big Fish is an awesome movie. Beetle Juice, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood and The Nightmare Before Christmas are all other excellent Tim Burton films.

i agree with ed wood, and definately with edward scissorhands, its so weird cos its got a sad ending, but it just doesnt feel sad! you've got to be talented to manage that. and of course depp is brilliant in it, i like him in pirates of the carribbean too!

Yeah, I like his films. Edward Scissorhands was one of my childhood favourites. I like how his films have this dark and haunting feeling to them

Does anyone know when 'Big Fish' will be released on DVD in Europe?

Beetle Juice, ESH & Batman (the 1st one) were all brilliant.
Mars Attacks! was 1 of my faves...
He certainly likes making things gothic & creepy!
Most of his movies have that same feel to them, not that that's a bad thing.
I'd love to see him do a movie version of an Iain Banks book, now THAT would really be cool. :D

Here's a couple of mathematic equations I made up. Just now.
Tim Burton + Danny Elfman + Johnny Depp = Perfect wierdness.
or,
Tim Burton + Michael Keaton = Cult Classic.
