Is this forum helpful enough?

just want to know where we stand :) and plz be fair coz i think this wud reflect on makin the forum a better forum. plus, whether u choose yes or no, state ur suggestions if u got any :) personally i think yes it is. other than evo-web, this forum is quite proving itself and the admins/mods on here r quite helpful and of much knowledge. when i first joined i had no idea about patching. now ive learned a lot. i hope whoever joins learn and enjoy too :) well i hope members start contributing and sharing their opinions :)

Yea, i think this Forum is very helpful, i haven’t got into the patching stuff yet, as i have never patched any game, but i will be patching PES4, and I’m sure ill get allot of help with that.....i think thin the most helpful bit to me is the Player Creation Centre, but soon will probably be the Patching area's.....also allot of the members to this site are very helpful to.....Zyg, Mutu, GFK, Jag, Mutu7, Larsson, Hitman and a few other's, if i never joined up to this site, all my player stat's on PES1, PES2, and PES3 would all be fucked up, they would be overrated and underrated, and i wouldn’t have the best looking kit's for Man Utd and other team's. I also wouldnt get all the latest PES Screen's....thanks allot Guy's :)

It's a very helpful forum. If the people 'in the know' on here can't help they will usually try and get you a link to another site that can help (Evo-Web etc). It was this sight that got me into patching and I have never looked back. I've been here a while and the first thing I do in the morning is check out PesInsight! Keep up the good work everyone;)

At first i only used to go to evoweb. but then i got banned from there so i lokked for an alternative. i didnt sign up anywhere but when i found this site just as helpful as evo-web i signed up and only did one or two posts. but this was because i didnt go on any of the general discussion forums and i never needed to really ask anyone anything because i could find all the information. so yes this site is very helpful. i also find myself lone at home quite a lot and this is a nice place to come and talk to ppl.

Personally, I only ever visit the football forum, and occassionally Off Topic. However, when I first signed up, I did used to venture into the PES section, and didnt have a clue about patching, X-Port's, etc, and everyone was very helpful, and unlike other forums (not particularly PES sites), they didnt have a hissy fit when somebody asked a question....

So yes, imo.

When I first came to this forum, I knew nothing about patching. Now, a year and a half on, I still know nothing about patching. In half-a-year's time, I'll still know nothing about patching.

That's not to blame the forum, though. I mean, I could try and learn about patching, but considering I don't have an X-Port, it would be quite pointless.

I'm not going to bother voting, as it's difficult to judge. When you're new to the game, and you come on the forum, you'll have questions - and there'll always be someone who knows more than you do. Then, as you become a regular member, you tend to shy away from the PES-related sections, and stick to Off-Topic and such. Also, you'll always get tossers (on every forum) who are reluctant to help, and cast you away as a "no0o0oB" - and then you'll have your widely-respected helpful people.

And, of course, this forum has a mixture of people - there's the jokers for the light humour, the perverts for the sex pictures, and the Hartlepool fans to laugh at!

It was helpful when I was patching (kudos to zyg), and you can't complain about the player creation and pc editing sections, very good. But someone could do with sorting out the tips section, some of the tips are rubbish (even the stickies) it just needs someone to sort the wheat from the chaff.

firstly, i dont see what a 'business strategy' has to do with the running of an internet forum? to me, the only business side of this would be securing advertising money and what not. i believe hitman does this through the amazon deal and his google ads.

secondly, i think youre taking the whole forum thing a bit too seriously. there evidently isnt a problem here, so why look for one? nobody has complained that the forum is unhelpful or anything.

Another sign of youth = the inability/laziness to use capitals. What's interesting in your case, Lami, is that you go to the trouble of using full-stops, but not capitals or commas. Interesting. OK. No longer interesting.

Who died and made you Lord of the Thread? For someone accusing others of arrogance, you seem to be extremely stead-fast on attaining the deserved credit for starting the thread. You don't have to keep referring to the thread, and begging people to reply. Quite clearly, the thread was popular enough, and if people want to reply, they will. There's also no need to go out of your way to be the "peace-maker." You said you wouldn't reply anymore. A full paragraph later, you said it again. And then backed that up with repetition of the point, simply re-worded. And Ashley didn't ruin it - you wanted opinions, and you keep going on about (to quote) "freedom of speech," yet the moment you come across an opinion digressant from your's you start crying.

Further, you're way too conscious of everything. I don't know whether your parents gave you idealistic perceptions of what an internet forum should be when you were a youth (because clearly you're grown up now :rolleyes: ), but you seem intent on pointing out the weaknesses of the mods. The mods/admins are humans too - they have senses of humour, and aren't robots. They're not going to parade around going "You said the F word, you're banned for the rest of all eternity!" all the time.
