I like the sound of that.
It does sound good. Although some teams use only one man up front. I think i would go for the Trezeguet/Ibrahimovic combo this year. They are both on very good form.

You are all fine to make your own suggestions for bets but I will just say that I like to put up bets for games where the result isn't a banker win one way or the other. It takes away all the fun from betting surely?
Taking the Arsenal game for example...Arsenal may be missing a couple of key players but I still don't think they should have any problems at home. This is a matter of opinion of course but you'll get very short odds on Arsenal and I've seen odds of 8/1 available for Birmingham.
Yes, football does have its shocks but I think you can see the point I'm trying to make.
What I'd like to see is if you were to start doing what nikos24 has done a few posts back, and provide reasons as to why it may make a good bet. Sell it to me, tell me why I should put the bet up ;)
Of course the big games/derbies don't need any reasons, and you should be able to guarentee that they'll be up without requesting, but there's no harm in doing so.

England - Austria.. could be a good bet, i feel though should bloody win. shocks: 30 %
Denmark - Greece.. seen the scenario here? If Greece loses, they all but lose their hope of qualifying for the World Cup.. Denmark will suffer the same fate should they lose. Both teams Dying for a win.. similar to that Turkey - Denmark bet a few weeks back, proved to be a thriller didnt it? ;)
Czech Republic - Netherlands.. Who wins this one will qualify automatically for the World Cup.. im not sure if its such a good bet though for the others..
Switzerland - France.. Leaders Switz play France in a game France must win in order to qualify for sure.. should the Swiss win, its the playoffs for the French, and most seemingly "au'revoir" to the Irish..
England - Poland.. crunch time. supposingly England beat Austria, they must beat Poland aswell to qualify automatically. The bet here is simply the "importance" of this match. Seen the polish sports news few minutes back.. clearly says "We will do our best to stop England from qualifying".. strong determination from these two teams.. Remember, even a point is sufficient for Poland to qualify.. thats just how much England needs to win.. Poland will do their best to stop them.. good bet ey? ;)
For now, im focusing on the International crunch qualifiers.. the league matches i will post my thoughts for those, after these qualifying matches..
Stongly suggest: Denmark - Greece, England - Poland (will be like the Greece match 4 years back at Old Trafford..) not sure though Beckham to be rescuer this time around

Well considering that Madrid's next three games are rather tasty affairs against Atletico, Valencia and Betis you can rest assured they'll be up.

I'm confident Arsenal will win, they've been unlucky to lose in all 3 matches and know they cannot afford to lose again. They haven't beaten us since 1999, and form doesn't always play a part in London derbies, although we aren't exactly in poor form with 3 consecutive wins and 3 clean sheets. Let's face it, Arsenal will finish miles above Sp*rs as per usual and Sp*rs' downfall should begin today/tomorrow. They might aswell get it out of their system early before they get too excited and carried away :innocent: Henry may be out, but we still have Reyes, Bergkamp, van Persie, Ljungberg and Pires who should be able to trouble their defence more than they can ours.

Am i to understand that the Madrid/Zaragoza game will be more interesting than the Barcelona/Getafe one...? Just look at the odds out there. Getafe have more chances of taking out Barcelona at home than Zaragoza to upset Madrid in Bernabeu...
i tink it may be better if we will to have a standard for betting of every matches...
Eg. we can place bet for the total goals, home win lose draw, halftime/full time and advantage for teams and instead of diff betting for diff matches...

think about it, have one for december, then if he doesnt score, then delete the thread and start a new one in january etc.

The Bolton-Sevilla thing is a glitch in the whole thing. I assume Hitman deleted it but it still appears on that page for some reason.
There is no World Cup Bet because we used to have a monthly competition and I could only put up bets that could be settled within the space of a month. I probably could put one up but it would be a waste of points because Hitman wants to put a new betting system in place and the World Cup is like six months away in any case.

The 500 at the start of every month was only in place to give everyone a fair field when we used to have monthly competitions. We keep the usual layout, you coose a game we bet on result (options e.g. 2-0 etc) but instead you don't just have a whole page for all different games you can sort out threads, for instance you click in the Premiership thread and all the games are there for you to bet on, it makes sense and keeps it all organised, you can have a different admin controlling each thread, Champions League thread...
