Instead of just evictions do a BB one that last for say between Friday and Tuesday of BigBrother of who win will the entire thing. It would have to be a short length of time between things when nothing happens and the odds dont change much - I have an inkling ;) I might keep my betting private on that one

It's too late now, but at the quarter finals you could've had Overall Winner, with the 8 teams left in, then alter the odds and delete the people who went out. It would make it a bit more exciting.

And think of how many points would've been lost on France :)

Or some correct scores, at the moment everyones banking on Czech Republic to win, to get back hardly any profit at all! Get some correct scores available and it would liven it up a bit! Or some first scorer bets, HT/FT bets etc...

It would give people a chance to really get some profit from it, rather than just continually backing the favourites at odds on. I haven't even placed a bet yet and I think it's getting a bit dull with the lack of bets available on football matches!

the best you can do is to look at any of the threads which you may have bid in, and click on one of the options, then it'll show you all the bets placed in that event.

I left out the tennis semis intentionally because in both there is an odds on favourite, Federer is 1/4 and Hewitt is 1/6 which makes some pretty boring betting

All jokes aside kids, the whole betting thing isn't really worth taking the chance on. The prices are always too low and sense you can't do multiple bets to all come in at a special price that might appeal more to punters.

P.S Even start doing wacky ones on stuff like " will Ronney start ahead of Smith" or "Who'll score first" etc you get the picture.

Nice Utd vs City thread, though I think you could do a bit better with the Utd odds. 0.4 isn't really what I expected, more of 0.6 and above.

United wins aren't as easy to predict as Arsenal's consistent victories, the Red Devils do stutter often even at the Threatre of Dreams. Upsets are lurking all over the place, but I imagine there wouldn't be one tonight.

Luis Figo is so good you can choose 2 Figo's in the list :D ;) :D Will Ludovic Giuly be playing? If so, he should take one of Figo's slots. With only 10 options though what if a player like Ivan Helguera, Carles Puyol or Walther Samuel scores the only goal in the game? I suppose it's up to people to decide whether they want to gamble on a player but say one of the defenders mentioned scores to make it 1-0, Real or Barca may sit back a little more affecting the chances of the most likely players to score. I like the idea, but maybe the lack of having more than 10 options could ruin it a little.

Personally, i like the idea. But the one problem is, wouldn't we have to wait to see what the team line-ups are? If so, by the time we know and the thread has been created it'll leave hardly anytime at all to place bets on it.

P.S I agree with your choice of players, i just wanted to point out there were 2 Figo's on the list. :)

Yeah I couldn't believe it myself as well :D

Anyway the team lineups are usually constant. Gio-Puyol-Marquez-Belletti at the back, Xavi as a holding midfielder, then attacking trio of Ronaldinho-Deco-Giuly, and a new strikerforce of Eto'o-Larsson.

For Real it's even more consistent, the lineups will always contain the Galacticos, plus players like Salgado, who is the only right-back at Real.

I hope Liverpool do go through. They have only one bad game so far in the CL (V Olympiakos in Greece), on Tuesday they weren't at their best but still put in a valiant display against Monaco with many players injured and the goal was a joke. The referee saying that he saw the handball but it wasn't deliberate so he gave it is shocking, what a cock! If that goal ends up costing Liverpool a place in the last 16 it would be a tragedy. I fear Olympiakos will use the usual Greek tactics and manage to take a point off Liverpool thus taking the qualifying spot, but i hope i am wrong. Liverpool deserve some luck as recently they have had none. Hope they have none on Sunday though ;)

Why not just get a mod for the betting section.
They can take the three big games from the big leagues, i.e. La Liga, Prem, Ligue 1, Calcio, and the German league. Maybe a few random games from around the world as well.
Mutu is a busy man, he can't do it all.
Get someone who thinks they can do it, give them two weeks to prove themselves and if they can't pick someone else.
