Whats the worst thing you've ever done form getting pissed off playing a footie game?
About 2 years ago i was playing FIFA 2001 on the PC, i had reached the semi finals of the World Cup on world class level but conceded a late goal in the match which put me out of the competition. I got really pissed off and picked up the nearest thing and through it at the wall.......which happened to be Tip-Ex (you know that stupid fucking white stuff you use in school).
To my absolute horror the Tip-Ex had blew up all over the wall, on the carpet and all over me dads work bag!!

Shit, unlucky man.
I don't get upset like that, though I know a few people do.
You can't do anything about the little men letting you down.
When I lose to a human player, I smile and say "good game" and "well played"
Got knocked out of a World Cup the other day.
5 stars playing as England.
I had beaten Italy 1-0 in the group match and met them again in the semi. I had loads more shots and possession but they scored a pikey winner from a rebound off the keeper ... in the 89th minute!
Beckham was suspended for the match for an uncharacteristic tackle from behind....
Just sat there looking at the stats in silence for a few minutes.
Some people would say we take the game too seriously.
I would tell them to sod off.
:p

well the worst thing happend about 4-5 months ago it was playing ML on extreme mode and it was the final game of the season in divison 3 which i needed to win, well there was 86 mins on the clock and i was winning 2-1 i played a simple back pass to the keeper i tried to punt it up the field first time and the stupid keeper took a frist touch and was then robbed buy raul who put the ball into the empty net.
i was so wound up i hit the glass coffee table (which broke) which spilt water all on my mobile so not only did that goal cost me promotion it also cost me £80 for a new table it also cost me about 130 phone numbers that was stored on the phone.

I wish i could just sit there and look at the stats for 5 minutes instead of throwing things, me mates think its funny.
But that tip-ex was a horrible site, it came off the wall and carpet with hot water and alot of scrubbing but as for the work bag......shit the bag was open and it got inside aswell! bits of it came off but i got proper bollocked!

i'm the same lad, or when your team just can't seem to make simple passes or the shooting is just awful all game.

It's really bad trying to pass it around in defence or to the keeper as it gets intercepted a lot. These days I just punt it up the pitch or deliberately kick it off for a throw (using the right stick manual pass).
Formation of a PES/WE fans support group?

well once a month me and alot of my friends get together and we play a league which normally consists of about 15-25 people and we all put in £10 a head and its basiclly winner takes all we play each other twice and normal league rules apply 3points for a win 1 for a draw and 0 for losing and whoever has the most points wins

Sounds cool.
Accept visitors?
What's the match times, player form set to?
Nationals or clubs?
richiered
10-07-2003, 12:25
all visitors are welcome we would be happy to take your money from u lol
we use our best master league teams and only three classic players are allowed on each team at one time
games last standard ten mins
also do u drive cause this takes place in south london and normally starts at about 9 pm and goes on until about 7am
Zygalski

That sounds great, mostly.
My ML team is built on extreme and has about 6 classic players. 3 on the pitch at once, right?
I could get by train or tube no probs.
Whereabouts roughly in south london?
The times are very strange though! What day does it usually take place?
Take my money? We'll see about that!
I may come down to check it out.

yeah thats right only three classic players at one having six in the squad is ok
it takes place in lewisham i normally happens on a sat night and the reason its at that time is because we all work during the week and thats the only time we can all get together uninteruppted
how old are and were do u live cause one of us might be able to give u a lift somewere u can say no if u want cause i no i must sound like some weirdo asking u these questions
Zygalski
10-07-2003, 12:49
No worries, I used to live in Lewisham so I know the area.
Rebus may be interested in this too. We'll have to wait for him to notice this thread.
Don't worry about a lift, the tube is cool.
When's this league happening next?
Cheers for the info.
(You may be over-run by London PESinsighters!
Hope you have a few PS2s)

ok umm not sure when the next one is but it will probably be in the next two weeks, as i said before all are welcome just as long as they dont cry when they lose their money
and there are three PS2S there so i dont matter how many people come
how old are u mate cause we are all between 22-27 just so u dont feel left out
Zygalski
10-07-2003, 13:00
No worries there either.
I fit right in there at about 24.5
I'll be making sure to duck if someone loses a match to anyone!
richiered
10-07-2003, 13:03
yeah there is alot of heated arguments there as u can imagine but its all in the name of PES
and there are alot of sour losers who think that foulin someone in the 89th min when they are run towards goal and your winning one nil is not fair but as i tell them what has to be done will be done
Zygalski
10-07-2003, 13:07
Yeah, some people feel strongly about that but it's part of the game and the ref should hand out the appropriate punishment.
Plus free-kicks and penalties can be deadly too.
richiered
10-07-2003, 13:36
exactly what i say
Zygalski
10-07-2003, 13:37

richiered
