Has selling Beckham harmed Man Utd's changing of winning the league and the champions league? It's surely helped Real Madrid winning the champions league!

Will Man Utd be able to get another player who can cross a ball like Beckham for this season?

Will it matter? Remember that Fergie has always sold people when he felt like it. He sold Ince, Kanchelski and someone(!) b4 their supposed sell-by date and United got better!

Anyway, as long as a manager signs a bigger or similar player to replace the one sold most fans are sated. Look at Shearer going to Newcastle after they sold Cole as an example.

It was two season before newcastle bought shearer after selling cole that would not be good enough in todays football they'll need to replace him soon

Tim Howard. Eric Djemba-Djemba. Ronaldinho? Kleberson? Viera? Duff (still a chance)? Get rid of Veron. Escude? Mexes? Van Buyten? I think they'll be ok!

This season's performance by Utd will obviously be analysed for the effect that Beckham's absence has. I still hope they meet Real in Europe. That would be well cool!

If you ask me Fergie is modelling Man Ut into Real Madrid. Ironic that he is doing so by selling Beckham to Real Madrid. Van the man Nistelrooy will obviously miss him the most.

He says how now he would rather a player that can beat defenders rather than who can cross one passed them. Ronaldinho is certainly a person who can dribble, and can slice a diffence open with one killer pass, rather like Veron when he decides hes going to be involved in the game.

Time will tell, but I think there could be some big changes. I'd like to see a big name defender and striker added personally. Fergie hasn;t really made much of an effort to buy a right-winger though has he? I mean most of United's midfield play in the centre - Keane, Butt, Scholes, Veron, Djemba Djemba. Ronaldinho won't be wasted on the right (I'd imagine he'll play him just behind Van, leaving Scholes in CMF to ghost into the box as he is so effective at doing).

You know Giggsy can play on the right. And Solskaer. And... ah!
