Clint, your team is good, no, actually very good but I would say that your weak link is Maldini. And also Davids is likely to get beaten in the air by anyone taller than 170cm which is a lot of players.

Try someone like Veron or Ballack instead of Davids when he needs a break.

Are you playing Maldini as RB? You could do better.
Examples are Thuram (France), Arce (Paraguay), Mahdavikia (Iran).
Basically check out the side backs of france, including the bench and you will find someone good.

Not trying to be critical at all, but you did ask. :)

The two up-front were there from the very start, and they out-stayed challenges from Vieri and Shevchenko, amongst others, for their first-team spot. Sentimental value, if you like.

I personally try and get a team filled of different-ish players from the "norm," so as when I play my mates with our ML teams it's not 11 sets of twins on the field. They always have Thuram-Carlos-Nesta-Cannavaro-type defences, and Shevchenko-Ronaldo-type strikeforces. *sigh*

Anyone one build a good team on the normal levels but it takes some degree of time, effort and quality to make a good team on extreme mode.
You still haven't said what level you built it on.
For all we know it was built on easy mode which is not going to impress anyone.

I don't really care about your poxy little championship.
It doesn't sound like the quality of your opposition was too high unless you can provide some evidence.
I know at least 10 guys at the PESTAL tournaments in London who could beat you at PES2, including me.
You may have won the Division 2 of PES2 tournaments but see how you would do in the Premiership.

I dont see the point of building these great squads.

If you have all these players it means that there is no competition from comp teams as you have stolen all their decent players.

I won on extreme mode every league in just three seasons not just promoted won including ml championship which i didnt know exsisted. I won so quickly i didnt have enough money to buy these players you go on about i just used mpenza babingida olisadibi etc.

It has always been the problem with these games even on the ps1 there just arent enough good players to go around.

i am now using the premiership patch and have upgraded a lot of players as seen on this forum and it is a lot harded thank god.

But this is the situation with all promising players. U just play them into the ground for 30 odd games and upgrade their stats thru the roof. Ok, you have play with effectively 9 outfield players for a while. But the pros outweigh the cons. I do think this aspect is too easy and has to be looked at for WE7/PES3. Plus perhaps more aggression in the trans market (like teams begging to take ur players etc)

i agree mate, these promising players sometimes could seem like abit of a cop out, but that said, its extremely hard to make them all round amazing, they can never be as effective as the strikers such as henry, rivaldo, owen etc as its is impossibel to make them good at every single thing. my player mentioned before, kivi , is great at shooting and running round the defence, however he cant run thru them as his balance is utter shite, and his passing leaves a lot to be desired.

but i suppose the pros do outweigh the cons in the case of a striker........

it would be good aswell if the transfer market was more interactive, more intelligent than at the moment......


by the way, does anyone have a sort of emotional attatchment to their players in the ml??????:)

Sometimes you just don't want to sell certain players. This could be because he's great for your team and system. Or maybe because he was very difficult to get in the first place.

Dude if I focus on a striker he will score double that amount, I scored with Ronaldo in 3 seasons 144 goals but I made also like 124 assists, you know why, becouse I wanted him to score and assist that much, now im not into that and now my goal rate is more balanced over my strikers and midfielders, I bet you midfield scored 3.

i agree mate, these promising players sometimes could seem like abit of a cop out, but that said, its extremely hard to make them all round amazing, they can never be as effective as the strikers such as henry, rivaldo, owen etc as its is impossibel to make them good at every single thing. my player mentioned before, kivi , is great at shooting and running round the defence, however he cant run thru them as his balance is utter shite, and his passing leaves a lot to be desired.

but i suppose the pros do outweigh the cons in the case of a striker........

it would be good aswell if the transfer market was more interactive, more intelligent than at the moment......

I do, there are some players that I just can't get rid off.

usually, I never get rid of Kaka, I never sell rooney (trust me, I've gotten over 10 offers a year usually 1000 credits over his actual worth), And I always try to make Maradona or Kaka win the assist leader.

Retired players are there to be used...The game can only become 'so' difficult at 6 stars, so by adding some past talent you increase the longevity of the game itself. Also, by allowing the computer to purchase these same players it keeps you somewhat honest in purchasing players during negotiations. Just my thoughts...

DL: Riise/McCarthey << the sunderland player develops into a good sideback.
DR: Cicinio, very fast and a good crosser of the ball, also got Walton the young English lad good player, should play him more though.
CB: Bos/Coloccini both very good defenders, only let 6 goals past them last season. My other two centre backs are Pakmieri and Vlaar.
DM: Stevie.
ML: Downing, who is unreal very fast great crosser and great determination, also got Shaw another young English lad, half cast he is.
MR: Pennant, love his player after 3 seasons of ml. Also got Bosingwa, good player, cost me a fair bit he did.
AM:Baumjohann, love this lad great passer of the ball aswell. Also got Kallstrom he's good.

I agree with everyone who has said that using classic players, especially at the level some of you have stated isn't cheating, but it does take something away from the game IMO. Having an option to remove classic players from the ML is a great idea, and one I use everytime. I haven't really had a good thrash on the pes6 ML, but have started a quick one to win all minor trophies, (Div 2 cup and league and Div 1 cup). My thinkin behind this was basically to limit my games and not have to win all the cups with just one side, although now I'm at the start of season 3, I'm kinda in two minds, in regards to starting again to go for the bigs ones with a different side.
At present I am about to start negotiations at the end of season 2.
My club is Spurs. Just for a laugh lol
Playin on Top player in case u wondered and have got to this stage without losing a league game, and winning every trophy/cup I have been entered in. : )

if you are talking about hatira, then you are talking about the wrong guy. for me, in his first debut, he scored 2 goals for me, and I put him as side midfielder. He never goes near his own net, so i am not sure if you are using him in the right position.

if you play with classics, good players to buy asap are breitner, cmf - c.germany. kempes, cf - c.argie. schuster, amf - c.germany. b.laudrup, wf - denmark. boniek, ss - poland. amoros, rb - c.france. all top notch, good developers. kempes has 101 goals in 98 games. top player, 2011.
