Any other Toffee's on here?
Who do you think Moyes should go for? McManaman, Davis or McCann?
Personally I think Jason Koumas is still a player we should be looking to sign, and we could get him for less than £3m
sean davis is younger and more of a threat to the opposition. i have heard a rumour that you lot were gonna sign him. a good leader.

I think everton may have abandoned the Davis attempt, although he's a decent player. Didn't they try to sign Scott Parker as well? McManaman'd probably do ok, bound to have learnt something from Real. Might have trouble with wage demands and such though.
Koumas would be a good addition at a reasonable price, he scored a good goal against united last season!
wouldnt go down with liverpool fans well if macca signed for the toffs?

Why wouldn't it? Think of the players they've bought off us....Barmby, Xavier both shit like!
I don't think we have abandoned the attempt to sign him either, Davis is very anxious to talk to Moyes. I think Macca would do well and i'd love to have McCann back. Scott Parker is a very good player aswell, apparantly he is unsettled at the Valley. Koumas would be a great addition, although there hasn't been much talk about him coming to us in the papers.
There's some quality players there, i just hope we have enough money to buy someone.

Yeah, I don't mind seeing Everton do well myself. They're not paying their way to success and they've got a good manager in the Fergie mould!
i enjoyed watching rooney torment arsenal last season and i think the best is yet to come.. :)

True, i just hope we can keep hold of him. If we keep getting top 7/6 finishes then i think we will.
who have everton signed this season? they do need some consistent defenders and a leader in midfield.

If you sign Scott Parker you should go for a dbl swoop and get Paul Konchesky? Davis would be an excellent signing. What about Solano? Isn't he meant to be given the boot soon from Newcastle or has he already gone? I can't remember.
I think he left whn Bowyer joined.
solano is still their but he's unhappy and i think everton would fit his bill but the lure of c/l football maybe too strong for him.

Wouldn't mind McManaman for the experience if nothing else, and yes, Scott Parker would be a really good signing but I can't see it myself. Moyes has a budget of £5m and Parker would command at least £4m, especially with Spurs and Chelski reportedly interested.
We need a strong midfielder to replace the loon Gravesen, who most Everton fans will a agree, is erratic and a liability at times, a creative midfielder like Parker or even Joe Cole and a wide left player.
Davis, Parker or Koumas and McManaman on the left would make us into a top 5 side I am sure, especially with the Roon and Radz.
i thought you spent your money on joseph yobo from marseielle?

Yeah we did, and that left us with £5 million to spend.
In a couple of years we will be finishing top 5 consistantly, Everton have got one of the best Youth teams in the country. I would love to see the likes of Nick Chadwick, Leon Osman and Kevin McLeod in the first team next season. Chadwick is gonna be a great striker, it was a shame he got injured not last season but the season b4, oh well he's back now and he banged in a hat-trick in preseason the other day.
yeah the youth system at everton was supposed to be one of the most promising youth systems in the ukwith one good example, wayne rooney. moyes will promote a few youngsters next season to develop their game for the likes of premier league football.

Ay it is, but there is still more quality talent out there that Moyes can go for.

Koumas for one. We constantly get linked with him and as they say, no smoke without fire. As for other players, we missed Dunn and looks like we have missed Davis so how about Michael Brown from The Blades? A goalscoring midfielder and he did well against Premiership opposition in the cups last season. What are your thoughts on Nyarko returning? By all accounts played very well last night against Rochdale when he came on. Lee Miller from Falkirk (we had him on trial) linked with Wigan and Cardiff?

Shades of Peter Kay coming out there i see:
"I can...and i have...Potter!"
Anyway, i'm pleased with Nyarko's return, it gives us more options now for the midfield, i'm glad he had a good game aswell.

How about Norwegian players? They are cheap (from Norway) and always seem to be value for money and more.
