Racism Complaints

Please not before doing anything else, that this is not a thread to talk about any of the recent events within the off topic section.

Right, I think perhaps a rule should be made that if you open a thread/poll about someone being racist saying they should be banned/warned, or even just reply to a message in a thread which is racist, then you should be warned yourself.

I think that any complaints of racism should be made directly to a mod/admin through PM, msn or some other way of communicating privately.

It's good to reply to the person who posted it aswell, as they themselves may have not noticed that it was taken as racist or offensive. But I agree with you fully wr50l, but what I really hate are the wimps who go crying to the MODS about people without the person even noticing that they have taken offence damn wimps *cough-Newbie*.

Didn't someone have a complaint about a signature and how it offended them a long time ago. I don't remember where, but it was in a normal thread and a newbie got really mad cause this person could have it. I don't recall who was involved. Kinda sad.

I realize racism is bad, but the only way that it will leave our generation is if we take the first steps to end it. And having people flip out like this is silly, just let it roll of your backs, people joke. If you can joke around about racism and what have you then I think people will find actual racists pathetic, as they are. One of my best friends is black. Another Mexican. We always mess around with each other. I am white, so they have little nicknames and what not. Everyone at school knows that when we joke it is a joke, if anything one of us says (there are 4 by the way) is taken offensively then we tell the person. Simple as that.

as a blak meself i'd obviously take that joke by nifty really seriously. wats the point of it aneway wen he probably knew dat it wud cause truble. maybe the mods shud close discussions bout racism cos it is just gonna cause truble. same way discussions bout warez are forbidden.

Discussions about racism won´t be accepted, like warez discussions aren´t accepted. That´s why both threads were closed. And this one is now closed, too, because I don´t see any sense in here.
