How do you like Chelsea now, espesially the fans...
You have money to the top because some unknown Russian Mafia-guy took over the place. But do you think this is good?
I think I lose my respect a little, this is not football anymore, it's just like Real(only they sold there trainingground to the Mafia-gouvernment for half a billion...)
I hope he won't succeed(it doesn't really go very well ofcourse, with only Geremi and Duff) but then again it's been tried before by Al-Fayed and he didn't succeed either...
chelsea are abusing football as they have all that money to spend and they will sign loads of people but ownt win anything except the worthy cup.

Good thing nobody really wants to go to Chelsea...
They've spent too much money already. 6 million for Glen johnson is just stupid. he made around 20 starts last season.
yeah but he made a good debut against lazio on friday. he looks like the young rio ferdinand.

If you have the money, I normally wouldn't spent it, but this is mafia money and ment for buying players... So they shouldn't start bidding on Henry, Raul, enz. That's a mistake, you only make yourself look stupid...
With Geremi and Duff you have 2 good players I think, and maybe they should buy some other players like that, so next year they could buy better and better etc, untill Henry and friends does want to come...
chelsea's midfield sucked, especially left. So signing geremi, and duff (hopefully) will sort out the midfield, but i think one more big buy is needed (a play maker in cm). Also, i think the buys they have made now have a lot of potential (bridge....o.k not done yet and johnson)...im liking the new chelsea its sensible. I just hope it improves success (which i think it will, with our wingers).
Vieri might sign in a few days (who isnt really needed coz of cole and forssell and gudgohnsen) but could be a replacement for jimmy floyd) coz inter have put a tag of 20m on him :)
o well.......cant wait til new season

Don't think so... Sign Mendieta as a CM...
why wouldnt vieri want to come? when was the last time inter won something? it will be a new challange for him.

Well sure wouldn't... If he comes he only comes for the money, Vieri is someone for the absolute top, not for Chelsea...
yeah true. i just read on teamtalk.com that chelsea had a 28m bid turned down for an athletico madrid striker. corres or torres.

Fernando Torres. I don't see how they could turn down £28m for a 19yr old striker. And they're in tons on debt I think. Shocker!

Vieri is absolute top alright. Shame he couldn't score a goal from almost point-blank range against S Korea in the WC2002. Oooh! Poor lamb cos it was not his favoured foot. Boo hoo! HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA HHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

You know, in Holland we have a line wich is used often:
"Uitzonderingen bevestigen de regel"
this means: exceptions confirm the rules...
I think this is exactly what is happening here... He misses one good chance and you think he is a very bad football player. But did you know what he accomplished? You don't, he is a striker from the absolute top...

I think vieri could come to chelsea you know, i mean duff earning 70k a week, and an offer to viera of 150k a week (if he signs on a bosman) could tempt vieri as he'll get massive wages! However, chelsea dont really need another striker, coz cole and forsell are on fire, and gudgohnsen can be top class. Hasselbaink should go, but even so it would mean one of the other 3 class strikers would miss out on a place!
