Cool stuff.
Will you be putting the other pics/game reports here from the other threads?
Correct ;)
I think it's too hard for the lads to find the old pic's and reports in the dGalactico thread coz the pages are moving so fast and the hard work we did to get the stuff is getting buried far too quickly and it's not being discussed enough. ;)
P.S. We should be learning from these games while we're still only playing our Pre-season. ;)
Highway Penguin
24-08-2004, 04:56
Yes we will learn.
PS - If you need help with anything thing just ask. You know I'm ready to help.
I'll dig up some reports, if it is needed. :)

Nice goal. I see I was at the center position, how did I do? Better playing out or central? :)
I like to video, adds a nice touch to the report. You really don't like going indepth about the games, I find that funny. :)
The French seemed to have had low scores...did they play badly?
Dundon's
31-08-2004, 03:14
I know dude I'll have to start typing up some more info. But I have to be catching clips and stuff so I've all that crap to deal with. :o
France were good but overal a draw might have been the best result but who cares we won. You did excellent in centre half with Gunplay, would you consider changing your stat's and trying for the spot or are you happy playing more as a wingback?
Highway Penguin
31-08-2004, 03:23
Well, I don't know how I did on the wing, so I can't tell. If I didn't help the attack I'll change, but if I did do soemthign well I'll just stay the same....make sense? :)
Dundon's
31-08-2004, 04:29
I think your better off right full as its too hard to fill your boots when you move, plus Trafty is also playing well in the centre and doesn't deserve to be dropped after all his hard work in training.
P.S. We're starting to konw or best eleven, and Minof will be back online tomorrow night coz he's back on the night shift at work, so he has plenty of things he wants to tell the squad. ;)
Highway Penguin
31-08-2004, 04:34
Ok, I'll stick there then, but if Trafty gets hurt, move me there and put Lami in, he seems to do well. :)
Or with Gunplay either way.
PS- I can't wait to see what Minof has to say, he hasn't been on in a while, if I'm not mistaken.
Dundon's
31-08-2004, 13:27
Thats correct. Minof doesn't have the net at home and was on holidays, I think was going to Brazil to see some young fellow tiped to be the new Pele.
P.S. Where's all the dGalactico's gone? Lets get somefeed back on the math V France shall we chaps. :)
DARK JAK
31-08-2004, 14:19
good result to score with so little possesion, it might have not been our best performance but like most good teams except arsenal 1-0 still a win and we showed strenght to grind out a result to the mighty arsenal no sorry france i mean :D
trafty_7
31-08-2004, 19:51
not our best performance so far, but its always good to beat france...great ball and class finish dundon's and jMz...a bit dissapointed i didn't make the start...will have to work harder in practice!

01-09-2004, 02:36
You have looked a far better player in your new role, way more comfortable and at ease.
I tried out a new line up to give the lads who didn't get a game before to take a look at what they got, and do ya know what I found?
Heart, I found great heart and bravery shown in the battle of France V dGalacticos.
It will be very hard to establish the best 11, but it as always will come down to the efforts made on the trainig pitch by the players, over the whole pre-season tour of the world.

It was a close game only for some magic from Gedo on the wing who managed to spot Dark Jak from the corner of his eye.And Jak take his chance with a well struck header top the top corner.

And the win was confirmed by yet another Ljungberg like run from deep from the in fourm jMz, the move started when Gadge played in Dundon's who broke from midfield and carried the ball far enought to unlease a rocket like shot in which keeper James could only parry, jMz said thankyou very much and put the ball into the gaping net.

nice lookin performance by the lads there it has to be said, but it wasn't a walkover, England had an equal ammount of shots and only 2% less possession, I think were better than this!:D
ps. seeing pes in this way makes me wish I had it patched. Or is it WE8?

02-09-2004, 02:37
Its PES3 on the PC dude and it looks and plays 1000 time better than the Ps2 version.I couldn't even look at We8 after I got it, it looks crap and plays crap and besides all that you get slowdown in the gamr evey couple of seconds and on all set pieces. (fact) it crap and I sickened over it.
But on another note, I do agree we have another 5-6 gears left in the old motor, and when we start to gel I'm sure we'll be battering every thing that comes in our way.
P.S. I'll have you in for the next game, didn't have your stats changed at the time and need confirmation in a PM of where you'd like to play as I'm dealing with a lot of stats and can't quite remember where you were trying out for. :o

http://img75.exs.cx/img75/1815/dGalvItalyItalteamsheet.jpg
Match kicked off fast n hectic, and Italy looked like at team that was ready to chill out, sit back and try sneak the away goal .But our lads always new that and we're always one step ahead. Italy had their chances but not many and we were always in the driving seat and looked the team most likely to get the result and this was assured when dGalactico hotshot Dark Jak fired home a Mark Hughes like jumping volley, after some great link up play form Leighgorski and Highway on the right wing.
After we scored our lads looked happy with the goal and protected it with ease, match finished up 1-0 to the dGalactico's.
Our new lads played very well and seemed to not get effected by the 100,000 fans that were lucky enough to get tickets.Kev had a solid first half with not too many scare's except for one chance involving Totti, that saw him drift behind the back of our defense for a 1 and 1 with keeper, only to see his shot saved by the great Comsicbuthairs. Second half he had him in his pocket and Italy were resorted to long balls and set plays.
1leighgorski was involved in most of our attacks and caused chaos with his vision and ability to find player from 50 yards. Had 1 great chance to score but had strayed offside.
Overall we look like a team finding their form and are getting better and better as the games go by. We should look on how to approach the away game, should we go all out and try for the win dGalactico style or sit back and play me at their own game.

Wow Dundons, great work mate. You actually have highlights of the Goals which is very entertaining, nice goal Dark Jak.
My pointers ( don't have to take into consideration ):
- Trafy 7 is best at center back.
- Sorry to any left backs, but nobody beats Burns a.k.a Ranger F.C on the left. From the matches I saw on WE8 Rangers was just pure class. Plus his set-piece superiority makes him a permanent 1st team player.
-Keep switching the players for a match. Then after the match play the team you believe is our 1st team and compare the scores/performances between the 1st team and rotated team.

I'll pass that advise onto the Boss, he'll want to hear some of your points.I think Trafy could be the 2nd leftfull in the squad coz we're working on getting 2 players for each position. But I have to admit it, Rangers is great at what he does and thats almost everything. ;)

Gunplay goes Gung-ho?
During a dGalactico's training session today, Gunplay was spotted playing an attacking role. When asked he replied ''I have just been thinking of diverting to Striker, but at the moment i'm accompanying Trafty in defence''. Gunplay will have to make a decision before the Inter-League Tournament this year. At the current moment, he is the World Class defender, we all know.

dGalactico’s F.c V Italy (Away 2nd leg)
Min
6- 1leighgorski destroys the Italy fullback Figo style, then sends a superb ball into the box where Rafro uses his strength and heading ability to pick out Dundon’s who is left unmarked in the Italian penalty spot, who then does a matrix like jumping volley to smash the ball into the net.
17- Rafro picks up the ball from the kickout, passes it to Minof who finds the K.1.N.G, who then fire’s a 30 yard pass straight to Rangers F.c who then decides to beat 3 players and burst into the Italian box, he lays it off the Dark Jak who shoots first time and skins the crossbar.
34- K.1.N.G brings the ball into the Italian side of the pitch and passes it to Rafo who lays it off to Ranger’s who skins the fullback again and sprays a beauty pass to Dundons who’s running from deep, Dundon’s dribble’s the ball outside the box and then back in again to create a shooting chance for strike partner Dark Jak, Dj’s Shoot rattles the bar and the follow up by Rangers is saved by Buffon.
42- After a string of 10 passes the Italy team broke through our Defense and Totti had nothing to do but beat the keeper, but this was a day that Maxwell wanted to prove he’s still No.1 keeper at that club, so he pulls off a wonder save and keeps the game in our favor.

Second Half….
47- P.A with his first touch in a dGalactico’s shirt dribbles the ball passed 2 defenders , then turns on a six-pence and shoots with the outside of his foot towards the keepers left. Buffon in turn uses his awareness to read the situation.
50- Zambrotta loops a superb lob pass into the path of Vieri who’s volley crashes off the post and he eventually lofted away by Kevthedrummer. 100% Italy’s best chance.
60-Rafro header looks certain to make it 2-0 only for Buffon to pull off the save of his life and push it passed the post for a corner.
61- K.1.n.g meets the jMz corner full on, only to see his chance sail over the crossbar.
65- Italy try to force away through the rock defense of the dGal’s and managed to find a cross which Totti directs to the keeper bottom right corner. Maxwell applies his cat like reflexes and holds onto the ball with both hands.
73-JoeyM goes on a mazy run pass 4 player and is tripped up 30 yard s from the Italian goal. jMz strikes the free kick straight at the wall and the ball falls to P.A. who shoots straight at the keeper.
82- Italy corner finds the head of Roberto Baggio who directs it at goal, saved off the line by Lami who is leading by example.
88-Di Canio links up with Baggio, then with some fine individual play he returned the ball to Di Canio who then closed down by Gunplay.
90-Another run from the speedy P.A gets him brought down just inside the Italian half. Gunplay looks like he’s going to have a bang at goal, shapes up R.Carlos style and blasts a 100mph rocket into row Z.
Fulltime Whistle……..
By far our best game ever, everything was excellent, Keeper was alert and sharp when called upon.Defense was air tight and seemed as if they'd been playing together for years.Def Mid protected the back line like Arsenals Gilberto + Paddy conection, Midfield created the most chances yet in any game and the Forwards looked dangerous whenever they recieved the ball.
TeamRating 10/10. ;)
P.S. I've got the goal/scoreboard/Player ratings etc saved and will try post em tonight. ;)

Nice stuff. I like it.
How was Penguin. Did he play?
The defense sounded strong. The attacks seemed heavy as well.

dGalactico's F.C V Rep of Ireland
After a long lay off the mighty dGalactico's decieded to run out the rusty legs against the solid Irish defense. The dGalactico's started with a full strenght team.
How they lined up....../

In a game that saw us destroy and almost toy with the Irish lads, the dGalacticos most in form player jMz smashed home a Shearer like belter into the back of the Irish net. Given had no chance god bless him, and the game finished 1-0. But in saying that we never looked troubled and seemed to play the whole game in Irelands half. Dark jak was unlucky not to score and hit the woodwork 2 times.
Our midfield controlled the game from the first minute and our defense had very little to do and was seldom troubled. I can't remember Maxwell having to make a single save.
Overall we should have won the game by 3 or 4 goals but we won't complain due to it being our first game back.
The jMz goal.....

I had a £1,000 bet on with Shay before the game that I could score against him. He still hasn't paid up...
