Has anyone ever bought and trained any of them young players that appear in the 'Freelance' section of the Transfer Negotiation page in Master League? I have and it was a great success on two occasions. It really is a great way to save money on wages and build your team in your style. My two were Wilde (a centre back) and Maupassant (a defensive midfielder). :p

I have bought a couple of players and nutured but I found that I spent a season nuturing a young striker, but when I started the next season, again I bought a young defender and all my points allocation went on him. I couldn't seem to select which young player I wanted to allocate points to. Maybe I missed something.
It is a great way to build up players, and giving them their debut when they are ready is cool, especially with a striker, who scores on his debut.
Ended up selling my young striker called Berbachov to Real Madrid for 4,000 + points. Mind you I think Real Madrid buy anyone.
i bought eliot and piliniak
