Australia should win.. but look out for NZ and Pakistan... South Africa will have nothing..

I've bet a 100 on austrailia, not won a bet yet so i aint gonna gamble too much!!
I stuck 200 on England just out of national loyalty seen as noone had bet on them, they're in good form so 8/1 seems definately worth a gamble

yea.. but... England will always struggle to put it together for long enough to win a tournament, they have the quality of: Gough, Flintoff and even Vaughn (although he is predominantley a test player...
Australia on the other hand have quality players all over the board.. and New Zealand have won their last 12 games in a row.. Pakistan are in some awesome form too... Sri Lanka are also not ranked 2nd in the world for ODI's for nothing.. but South Africa's odds are extremely flattering, they have been in piss poor form.. so don't expect too much from them...
Gough for England, aint that good. I dont really like him much, harmisson is great, took his best figures yet 4-22.

Gough is a champ.. he is the best bowler that England have had since i have been watching cricket, sure since his injury he has not been what he used to be.. but his experience is vaulable.. and IS one of the best bowlers in the world of the 90's.. and dont bring his stats into it.. coz stats mean shit all...

Good odds me thinks (for England), if I had any money I'd place a bet, seeing as England, espescially Freddy, seem to be on form and Australia are a bunch of old fogeys, but thats what they said about our rugby team and the old men did quite good :D
-=[101st]=-, sorry to offend you. Well Gough was great, esp against S.A. in the mid 90's. He took 4 wickets or sumin in his forst over.
gone for Pakistan, although they havent got the team of the past they like to take a chance and bring in the youngsters and seem to always play a few off the conveyor belt... plus Afridi is the ideal one day player

England beat the Aussies by 6 wickets. What did I tell you, 8/1 my arse
Great news, it was great.

It was a brilliant game, I did toy with the idea of putting money on England to win it a while ago but now it's too late, sob.

Yeah at 14/1 someone could have cleaned up. I can't believe we managed to beat Australia then lost to the Windies in the final. Shocker.

Extremely happy :D
i reckon the best team won because if england won u wouldnt hear the end of it like in the rugby! cant be doin with pakistan winnin cos they wud probly be the same and as for aus they wud stick to there thoughts that they are immortal so the best team won. wouldnt've minded if south africa won and wudve been happy if india won but windies did it so fair play to em!
was impressed with the victory and was appaled at how biased the comentary was getting!
windies definately deserved as underdogs and it seems that this year has been a total year for the underdogs!
champ league: porto
euro 2004: greece
ICC : windies
been a brilliant year for the bookies ;)

It's not brilliant for the bookies if they're the unlucky ones where someone wins 90-odd grand when Greece win euro 2004!
