Brad Pitt is in it. Wolfgang Petersen is directing. It should be good but not as good as if I had been in it! Never got an audition dammit!

It's got a handful of really good actors like Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean. It's about the Trojan War, something to do with Greek mythology. Going to be great.

Sounds quite good, i've not heard that much about it so i'll say average for now. With Reb in it i probably would've said that it is going to be the greatest film on Earth, but the feckin eijits didn't give him an audition!

I don't think this movie is suited to blokes really.
Not knowing much about it yet, but it sounds like it wants to be like Gladiator.

It is a boys film! But it is gonna hopefully be better than Gladiator as it has historical fact behind it (which normally adds to films?)

I reckon it could have a bit of a Lord Of The Rings style with it having Orland Bloom and Sean Bean in it, hopefully it will be even better.

It will be very Gladiator. Trust me. Cos it is a deserty/green scenario for battles it won't be like LOTR. No pitch mud bath battles!

I had a feeling that it's going to be Gladiatorish which also means that it will walk away with oscars. I think the story is that it's a war started over a woman between Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt don't quote me though

I take it you don't know the story of Troy. Paris, Achilles, Helen, etc...

Basically Paris was promised Helen (wife of Menelaus) by goddess Aphrodite. He kidnapped her and took her back to Troy while Menelaus was away. Menelaus was so outraged he laid siege to Troy for 12 yrs or so then gained entry to the city using Odysseus' horse (Trojan Horse). He had wanted to kill Helen but she was such a sexy bint that he spared her.

That's about it really. It's actually a lot more interesting if you ever get the time to read Greek myth.

When i was younger i did have a massive greek mythology book but i didn't get past the likes of the minotor or medusa but i know the basic story of the trojan horse

Greek and Roman myth is very cool indeed. There is a book which is very short and has lots of the stories if you're interested?

I think it's just called something simple like "Greek and Roman Myth". Easy reading and prob cheap. Read it! It won't interfere with King!

Looks like it'll be a good film if its made well! Orlando Bloom is the man in Lord Of The Rings + Pirates Of The Caribbean. Brad's pretty cool + they're bound 2 have some hot co-star (like Kiera Knightly from POTC! Damn fine!). We'll c when it comes out tho!
