It appears on mine, however I'd never noticed it until I looked specifically due to this thread. When you add new features/links like that put a little 'NEW' logo to the side of it to attract attention? Don't know how easy that is but I've seen it done on many other sites.

You only get booked for double posting if I see it AND if you second post either a) doesn't have the same time stamp and content as the first post or b) doesn't inform me that you've only double posted due to a problem with your internet connection or the forum itself.

In all fairness, double posting with say five minutes between posts doesn't fit either of those conditions and are the most common ones I see.

Noticed it yesterday and don't believe I, or perhaps anyone, has the ability to do so. It might be part of the internal coding. Don't blindly set bets one hour forward because it does eventually correct itself.

I think that it has something to do with this version of vBulletin. We didn't have those spam bots before we upgraded to the current version. PESFan uses Version 3.7.4 and so far I haven't seen any spambots.

You can't be a mod with your posting style irrespective of whether you're serious or not when you type certain things. It gives out the wrong message considering your style hasn't changed significantly over time.

I would have thought that the official club threads would be a better place to leave post match discussion. I will leave them open for a few hours after, if people start talking more i'll gladly continue to do it.

I think it is a good thing that people post x amount on team a, as it then brings the thread forward and more people notice it. Booking people however isn't upto me so that would be upto the admins.

The threads should be left open, because in the past we've had epicly long ones in that section, specially after big games.

I can't remember the last time many bets were placed on a Barcelona - Real, or a Liverpool - Chelsea, and think it's somehow due to the threads being closed right away.

The reason why i usually close them not long after is because there is hardly no betting going on, most threads nowadays have 1 or 2 bets placed, i have tried including more options for games but they prove to be the same.

I'm not sure that's a great idea anyway. It could cause some serious issues with some people just giving the same person rep all the time, and some where they don't deserve the rep at all. Just my opinion though.

I suggest fixing the Casino, specifically the BlackJack section. It just robbed me of about 500 credits. I didn't lose these credits either, I lost about 400 through playing, then the dealer just stole my remaining 500. :mellow: I clicked Deal and a page came up saying I need to try a string trick, or along those lines. I've mentioned this before, but an "Other Sports" forum under the football one? There's Darts, NBA, NFL and UFC threads in Off Topic at the moment, and I'm sure more would be made if there was a designated area for it.

Tennis, Snooker, Golf threads, for instance.

Maybe it's not that big of a deal, but meh. I wouldn't mind if it's kept the way it is, it's just something I'm throwing out there.

I did that about three weeks ago. Not only do the email accounts have to be verified, all accounts have to be verified by admins. For some reason typical spam bots are coming through so someone isn't reading the names closely enough. There are other erroneous ones which we won't be able to know are spam bots for sure that we tend to have to let through and hope for the best. Certain domains have also been blacklisted for new users.

Ouch. I take it you have very limited access to the 'editing' of the site? Considering you can change skins but have no access to the modification user groups.

Things have been relatively quiet in the non-Pro Evolution Soccer fora during the past one or two years. Maybe giving users a bit of an incentive to post can help? Just to get the ball rolling.

Sweey, how were you able to add the moderator bars? I was led to believe all administrators (other than Matt Holme and Hitman) can be compared to the "Super Moderators". Apparently not. Considering you must have had access to the root directory to change skins, add the 'Supports' part to the profile and more recently add the 'Moderator' bar and change the 'Admin' bar.

Hitman is barely on here these days - who's officially in charge? The whole board of admins?

Why create a new usergroup? Users can be members of multiple groups but only have one display group. I'm a member of three usergroups myself. All I had to do was switch his display usergroup.

For members posting multiple pictures, (like mufcsean) to stop the post being ridiculously long and untidy, he sometimes does it over two posts. That wouldn't be possible with merging in place.

It isn't a huge deal, granted, but still an annoyance to some.

I do agree with your point Greenegg and will still look into it as I'm unaware of the settings associated with it as I'm not even sure I was an admin back when Hitman first introduced it. At least now you're aware of potential pitfalls which may prevent its use on the forum.

I did use it, but stopped for quite a while, as they were too many hyperlink buttons missing from it.

Any chance we could split the Movie/T.V./Program section? It is very rare that Programs get posted so that could merge with Music, and then have a section each for T.V Shows and Films.
