OK, the title makes it sound a little more controversial than it actually is, but in an attempt to salvage this forum from all the shit threads (Who's the best...., Official Official Thread etc...).

I thought I'd spark a debate about that favourite off topic subject, racial issues.

So who would win?

Black England or White England?

'Black' England

David James (possibly Shaka Hislop)
Glen Johnson, Sol Campbell, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole
Wright-Phillips, Ledley King, Jermaine Jenas, Kieron Dyer
Carlton Cole/Darius Vassell, Jermaine Defoe

and for 'White' England

Paul Robinson
Gary Neville, John Terry, Jonathan Woodgate, Wayne Bridge
David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole
Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney

"White" England would win just by a whisker...

but in premiership i think it would much diffrent

Argh! This IS controversial! Probably white England for experience and black england for flare, plus you missed Heskey ;)

"White" England would win

What are you trying to say?

You think that makes white people better than black people? That the colour of someones skin makes them inferior to another race?

Racist!

I wouldn't want either to win. As playing Blacks Vs Whites ain't solving any racism is it ? And Shaka Hislop is from Trinidad Tobago you know! Same place Dwight Yorke is from or did you think the accent was fake  ?

Good thread.

I reckon it'd be a close run thing. Either side could win it, probably dependant on form, currently I think Black England might just nick it.

Shaka Hislop plays for Trinidad & Tobago so I doubt he'd be able to play.

I desperately didn't want to include James.

Or perhaps I just didn't know Shaka's nationality.

Who knows.

You didn't want to include James, because you were scared he will boost the Black England squad with his experience.

Great Thread

The first team has a better defence but the latter has a very good attack.... to hard to call

well do you think France would have actually done it in world cup 98 with only white frenchmen in their lineup? and without zidane who's origin is algerian ?

Zidane was born in Marseille man, what more do you want?

his parents are algerian, they moved to France 40 or 50 years ago, i don't really know but that doesn't make him 100% french, trezeguet is argentinian too right?

LiamK

You don't have to be 100% one nationality to play for a country, therefore he's french, therefore he's eligable. If you had to be 100% then an awful lot of players would be ruled out of all international games and tournaments.

i know that, i am just saying France didn't produce too many players in that generation that was worth of carrying the world cup, it was more of a world all star team than France national team, don't get so upset people France is my favorite national team ever so i wouldn't like to criticise them a lot i am just stating what's obvious

I bet Shevchenko, Giggs and Drogba wish they were some other nationalities as well, shame how such good talents have such a low chance of playing in major tournaments

Drogba plays with Ivory coast which are now first in the world cup qualifiers with 9 points 2nd comes Egypt, cameroon and lybia all with 7 points so they might have a good chance in qualifying this year

Giggs could NEVER play for England, he is in no way english. The only 'England Team' he played for was the England schoolboys, and thats because he went to an english school, not because hes english, cos hes not.
