I'm going to the home leg on thursday, obviously my knowledge of this team isn't great, so I don't really know what to expect.

yea ur right for considering me a bitch coz i bitched about what u Israel did to arabs, which is my right to freely say coz its a fact :) and i'll stay the bitch and keep bitching about it :D hehe, and u continue my dear cousin to be the arrogant one

Its good to see a team representing both sides playin on the same side. I really hope they do succeed and qualify to the latter rounds.

Gedo - yeah they represent Israel, because as far as I know no Arab contry plays in Europe, but the team is from an Arabic town (Sakhnin) and most of the players are either Arabic (Israeli Arabs) or foreigners. The manager is Israeli (Lahman) and they have 2 Israeli players.

To be honest, I don't think they stand a chance against newcastle but who knows.

Lami - as long as we support the same side, it's cool with me. And I'm cool with being the arrogant one as long as you are cool with being the bitch ;)
BTW I regard you as my cousin as well, the same as Gedo and Mussav.
And your comment about seeing a team that represents both sides - you are very right about that notion.

Good luck for them
I heard a lot of Palestinian will support the club
thy think the Arab players is actually Palestinian

I don’t know if thy are Palestinian or not but I know Israeli people don’t talk Arabic but thy understand it

so if Palestinian or Israeli its doesn’t matter.

I hope thy can make it against Newcastle

Also good luck to Terek Grozny a Chechnya (sp?) Club won the Russian cup

The ticket prices are £15-£17 for barins, and £15-£22 for adults, not bad I suppose.

Ok I want to make something clear:
Bnei Sakhnin is an israeli team and they play in the Israeli Premier League.
The city of Sakhnin is located nearby the boarder. Some of the player are Palestinians but everybody talks hebrew either, There are Israelies and foreign players too.
Concerning to the preview question so yes, Bnei Sakhnin represent Israel in the UEFA Cup after they won the Israeli cup.

I thought it was obvious they played for Israel. As I mentioned before, there is no arab team playing in a European championship. As for the historical/ethnic achivement, I still think it's quite impressive.
