lol, its strange, 4 man u when he tries 2 shoot from long range(which is not 2 often i admit) its normally an awful attempt, but 4 psv he scored some very good goals, i have yet 2 c any outside of the box, but from just inside he was smashing it in brilliantly, although the keepers r obviously not of the same standard he was still finishing excellently from further out than ive seen him doing 4 man u. Still, as much as i dont like him, he has talent, u cant fluke your way 2 havin the goalscoring record he does.

u have a good chance, but don't take Lyon lightly, they have won the French league 3 years in a row and like u said Juninho is very dangerous, and they have Sylvain Wiltord now aswell :D also watch out 4 sidney govou and in particular there new brazilian sensation Milma!!(sp?)

Wiltord isnt 2 bad, if he plays as a forward alongside Milma (sp) he could be a serious threat, altho i think he will play on the right wing and Govou may partner Milma. Milma scored 2 at the weekend and much is being made of his quality, they r very dangerous going forward but i think man u can exploit some of the weaknesses they may have in there defence.

lol im always trying 2 improve my football knowledge ;) , be it an English team of French, i dont no loads about Lyon, i have seen quite a bit of them playing over the past 3 years to know a bit about them. They r a dangerous side but Giovanni Elber is out for possibly over 5 months which is a big blow 4 them. Itd b good 2 c Wiltord make the absence look like a blessing in disguise by knocking in a couple tho :cool:

yeh thats why ive predicted a 2-2 draw in the CL prediction league, both teams defence r weaker than there attack so there could b quite a few goals in this 1.

Firstly, like mutu said no u havent, but what the hell does that have to do with my points? Anyone with knowledge of french football knows Lyon can be a very dangerous side, and i was having a conversation with singh about there dangermen, and mentioned Lyon have won the French league 3 years in a row now, that has nothin 2 do with how many times man u have won the prem, but if u want 2 compare it they have won there domestic title twice more than man u have in the past 3 years! :p
Got to be Man United tonight. I don't really rate any of the French teams, although Monaco did well to attempt to change my opinion last season.

unbelievable, Man Utd just aren't who they were. Back in the days of Beckham and Sheringham etc... notice how both united and Beckham have gone downhill since they went their seperate ways... or is it just me?
Beckham has not really gone downhill, suffering a poor form at the moment, although United seemed to be suffering more than him.
Even after all Ferguson's "replacements for Beckham".
