No they aren't :(
Dave Mustaine, the boss, has broken his hand...
However, they've done wonderful songs like Hangar 18, Holy Wars, Peace Sells, Countdown To Extinction...

Yeah Chilis were amazing, can't believe they played Venice Queen - they didn't play it when I saw 'em earlier in the year. Thought they could've played some better songs than Throw Away Your Television though. Do you have any idea which song John Frusciante did a solo of? I know it was a cover but not sure what it was...
Queens would've been better if I didn't have to concentrate so bloody hard on standing up and not getting pushed over!

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist.
Definitely Maybe

I am a massive Aphex Twin fan, but I recently read a interview and he said that he doesn't release what he considers his best material incase it gets sampled and 'messed with'. So if anyones a mate of Richards get us some of that work and I promise I won't sample it.
Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World both rule. For anyone who hasn't heard of Jimmy Eat World I would suggest opening kazaa now.

Yeah Gav, then I'd close it again and go to HMV and buy the album like a good boy...
I'm not going to try and pigeon-hole myself by listing actual band/artist names, because I listen to almost literally anything that's going...
Best way to be in my opinion...
Peace out,
Gary

Haaa Haaa, if anyone hasn't realised my rant about Phil Collins is actually from 'American Psycho' one of the best films(about the '80's) ever made.
Oh and I got the piece out of the book before anyone starts moaning about the film not recreating the book.

Frusciante is a god. I've got To Record Only Water For Ten Days and Shadows Collide With People, I'm always losing CD's and finding them again though and at the moment these are temporarily lost.
I hadn't seen my Audioslave album for months and found that whilst looking for John Frusciante, so it's not all bad :D

Wrong. Frusciante is God.
You should definately get Niandra LaDes, it's available at Amazon quite cheap. It's very different to the latest two albums and it's not as easy to listen to as TROWFTD and SCWP but it's still brilliant.
busted are the best around really. no competition!
Some useless, but interesting information, kid in my school went to the same private school as that Charlie prat from Busted, and apparently, he was a complete bar steward and bullied half the school
Some more useless but interesting information, friend of mine sat next to Crespo's hairdresser at the Middlesborough game on Friday, and he's getting it coloured sometime this week, so it will probably look even more ridiculous. But he'll still score a couple against Monaco on Tuesday.
What would you do without me, eh? :D

How can you have a band without a drummer? They're just a boyband with guitars.
They are hopeless, the top 40 is full of groups like them and crap R'n'B. The top 40 is a joke now & getting to number 1 isn't as much of an achievement as it used to be
i like them! im not saying theyre musical legends or whatever, but they produce catchy songs that everyone can sing along to (if theyre not too ashamed)
i dont care about the rights and wrongs of it, i dont care if they have a drummer or not, if i like the music its good enough for me.
i agree that most number 1s these days are total utter bollocks. people who uve never heard of just bring out songs about their ex girlfriends and it goes to number one! i dont think thats right.
