Refuse to watch it myself :) If he's good it's only because he doesn't have to get into character because he's basically playing himself.

rebusrahman

have to agree with mambo there! I'd forgotten about Ed Norton, although he looks really gay in that Italian Job trailer?!?!?!

Mambo

Haven't seen the trailer myself. I just hope the film's not a let-down...

I think it looks ok. It is not a remake by the looks of it. But a reworking really. But Ed... what is with the goatee?

26-08-2003, 20:17
Do you know when it's out or who else is in it? At the risk of changing the topic further, has anyone seen American Pie 3 yet? I really wanna see this film, been working too much recently.

Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, Dr. Evil's son (Scott) and loads of others. I thought AP1 was ok. But haven't seen 2 yet.

I spoke to one of me mates last night who went to see AP3 over the weekend and they said it was well funny, Stifler steals the show. I definatly agree with you about Chris Tucker Jag he's class in Friday best quote ever "Smoke Dogg baby, i been smokin this shit since i was 2"

I've heard it follows the Stiff meister around a lot more, which is good 'cause he is by far the funniest character. The 'champagne' incident in AP2 had me in stitches first time round.

Yeah definatly right Mambo, he's tryin to get with Michelle's(Flute girl) little sister and he's acts llike a geek and wants to be called Steven but don't worry it's only an act

I've seen American Pie 3 now and it is very funny. I was a bit disappointed how many main characters were missing who were in the previous ones (Oz plus ALL the girls except for Michelle of course). They didn't even bloody mention them! I think Jim would've invited Oz top his wedding, not even a "it's a shame Ozz couldn't make it" story line or anything. Anyways another fine film.

Saw the trailer for The Italian Job, looks stylish with some pretty cool actors in it. Bit annoyed that they showed basically the whole plot and twists in the trailer itself - kinda spoilt it. The only thing iy was missing was the end credits it seemed.

i think i'm gonna wait till AP3 comes out on DVD i'm still waiting to see Freddy Vs Jason, just can't find time to get get to the fliks at the moment. I did watch Eddie Murphy's Coming to America last night class film that and Trading Places are Eddis's best films

Harrison Ford is great

P-GodII
15-09-2003, 12:20
Harrison Ford is one of the best action stars there WAS, the likes of the Star Wars Trilogy and Indy series also The Fugitive was good but he has not done that many latly like that K-19 was meant to be crap and Hollywood Homicide is not amazing stuff hopefully the new Indy film will help not hinder

rebusrahman
15-09-2003, 15:26
Although Ford has done many great films he seems to also pick a lot of hummers!!!

P-GodII
16-09-2003, 10:03
I think the best role for him is Han or Indy because there the lovable rogues which really he's good at playing i mean in K-19 that was an awfull russian accent, maybe beacause he has made two iconic characters in his life thats all people see him as but i'm wondering how this new Indy film is goin to pan out

rebusrahman
16-09-2003, 12:54
Hmm... wise words. But he is good in The Mosquito Coast, Witness, American Graffiti, The Guns of Navarone (I think it is) and "your fugitive's name is Dr Ri-CHard Kim-BLE!"

P-GodII
16-09-2003, 13:46
Very good impression of Tommy Lee Jones there. Did you ever see U.S Marshalls with Wes Snipes & Tommy L J cause he actually played the same character as in The Fugitive but it wasn't classed as a sequel

rebusrahman
17-09-2003, 15:47
It's on Channel 5 soon. But no I didn't cos it looked like it would be shit. Also I think that they couldn't call it Fugitive 2 because of rights. But the first film is brillaint and so it would be sad to let them do it such an injustice?

P-GodII
18-09-2003, 09:15
Good point Reb, i havn't seen it myself either. I watched The Bourne Identity last night i'm usually not an action film person but i think it's dead good did you know there actally making three of those films, what do you think of it

rebusrahman
18-09-2003, 09:45
To be honest, I haven't seen it yet. I hear good things about it and I can bear Matt Damon posturing more so than Ben Affleck! Anyway, did anyone notice Harrison's fantastic hand acting (again) in The Fugitive. If not, check it out!

Requiem for a Dream was a very good movie and I love the soundtrack to it. I must admit I was surprised when I saw it because I never thought it was gonna be that good, it is very disturbing. Oh, and one of the reasons why I liked it so much was because you get to see Jennifer Connelly naked. :p

Bocco, if you really liked that movie then I recommend you also watch Trainspotting.

Darkness Falls? Man this movie sucked. The Evil Tooth-Fairy is in action again! Can a story get more lamer than that? It's boring from beginning to the end. The story is so stupid, the acting was poor and the villain in it is an old woman (a tooth fairy, WTF???) who was wrongly killed a long time ago, who's now seeking revenge. The ending is so awful that it's funny.

Sorry, I only saw the first 30 mins. It looked good to me. :(

But to be honest there will always be people who hates certain films.

Anyway, get the stupid pic off your sig. That was the FA cup fluke, wasn't it.

So you’re saying that you watched only 30 minutes of a movie and you decided that it was the best you'd ever seen?

And how were us winning the FA Cup a fluke? Anyways, the picture is gonna stay so you better get use to it.
