i havent played it but from what i hear its A LOT better than pes2. i wont be getting it myself because of the expensive import costs.

The game is really better than PES2. Also, the players are in the correct team (like Ronaldo in Real Madrid) and some others substancial differences (gameplay specially). For the people who have the game, there's already a patch in http://weandpes.net
It's only 70% English, but it's very good. The most important things are tranlated.

I have got we6 final evolution in japanese and I want the patch in english but I don´t have the game´s iso because of I need the whole patch. Tnank you very much

I got my chipped PS2 back yesterday with a copy of WE6FE! I patched it straight away and it is much better than PES2.... The one complaint I have is that the patched version of the game (I have the Jap version to) is prone to crashing when showing replays.... Otherwise it's superb.... :D

There is no such thing as PES FE, only the WE series works like that, if you can't get WE6FE you may have to wait a long time for PES3.

I really can't wait for PES3, but I am quite content playing PES2 at the moment. Does anyone else out there feel that PES2 was rushed a bit just to get it out before Fifa? I mean updating squads can't really take all that much effort, can it? The players are already there (most of them) so it's just a case of putting them in the right kit.

Apart from that I think PES2 is a blinding game and I'd rather play it than some dodgy japanese copy of WE6:fe that is all in japanese. I'll wait until november thankyou very much!:)

Although the commentary is in japanese, once you have it patched everything is in english. And the patched version looks a damn sight better, and plays better overall for that matter imo. I still play PES2 and I like it, but I would suggest trying WE6FE or WE6 if you can then you can see for yourself what everyone is going mad about.

personally i havent played we6fe.... i cant really be doing with the hassle of getting ps2 chipped and then importing it etc. etc. if anyone wants to come collect my ps2 and do it all for me though i wouldnt complain! :D

I must admit that those screenshots really were quite fantastic. That 'Vodafon' logo is superb! The flags were also perfect reproductions, which in my mind is important. Will this patch work on PES3 (or a similar patch) when it gets released without a license? Forgive my cynical attitude, but a full license seems nigh on impossible. Don't ask me why, it just feels that way.

Is it true that they have also put better, real crowd chants in? I hope the ones about Becks posh wife are in there!:D

The problem with the PES2 and probably PES3 is that they are DVD, so there aren't that many patches that I know of. There are a few tools that you could use, extracting graphical and audio files. It's a messy process but I'm sure someone out there will know what to do.

Yes there is a crowd chants patch is a nice touch and with a bit of know-how you can put your own music in to spare you from listening to the awful replay music. :D

i'm playing we6fe for more than a month now, and still never saw the diferent moves that everyone's saying about raul and cruiff!!! does anyone know how they can be done??

ps- the game is in fact a lot better than pes2, simple superb...

bxd246 - I'd point you to a guide on issextreme, if that's alrite.

zippo - calcio is based on wedoit 1.0, has new kits (but not as new as some of the latest patches, dynamo/wedoit 2.0. Adboards and a lot of music which I think accounts for the 216mb file. I'm using dynamos at the moment, with my own modifications.

jim - yeah you have to patch, to get kits look as real as possible.

Ahh, can someone help me...

I was trying to patch WE6:FE but when I got to STEP 3 where u had to load the .cue file.....it says ERROR INVALID CUESHEET command at line 3, Previous File is not multiplied of block size...

I dunno if this had anything to do with that but when I did the PPF thingy, there was a message about the filesize of binfile does not match with the filesize of this PPF file was made of.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

I have this game I love it.It is great with all the patches for it .My Real Madrid dream team are in the top flight of Master League on extreme.Great game, I also made some faces myself for the game.:D :D
