So, how many transfers have everyone made this week? I haven't made any (yet), but I might change one or two now.
I'm gonna leave my changes to the last minute, incase of any injuries that occur. Clever thinking...eh? ;)

I've made a couple of changes...I've brought in Jermaine Pennant and Andy Cole. It's not that I'm a particually big fan of Cole but he seems to bag a few goals on a regular basis and has got four already this season. Hopefully he will do the business! :)
blackburn have a good team so they will create alot for cole

1) Whilst holding the much coverted position of 'Moderator', you seem determined to abuse me. Surely being an ambassador for the Website, you would conduct yourself in a better manner?
2) Before thinking of banning this forum 'name'. Wouldn't it be wise to allow me to actually commit 'crimes'. Rather than using the obvious prejudice that you have against me?
3) It amazes me, how YOU moan about me complaining about your rather excessive posting, YET YOU make 'gay' references and 'gay' slurs against me. Are you 'homophobic'? If so, I suggest you keep that to yourself and not write it on a public forum. Thus, by doing this, you will not anger people who prefer their own sex.

To be honest, both of you are at fault. I hope I am being objective but Gooner/Walkor you do have a tendency to rub people up the wrong way from the word go. I appreciate you have gone thru a hard time in the last few months but that is no reason to be "arsey" with other people.
Likewise, zyg, you are normally very helpful and a good guy. But you have let Gooner really wind you up to the point of being the aggressor on occassions. Surely, if someone is to be banned there has to be a little consensus rather than just making an arbitrary decision?
Anyway, this needs to be sorted out properly?

I recently transferred out RVN for Henry. So I'm hoping for a goal or two from the Frenchman. However, I have got RVN in various other fantasy league teams so...I'm hoping for them both to bag goals. Well, they are the best two strikers in the premiership! :D

Lots of people got their points from Henry and, not surprisingly, many of us have him set as our captain which would give him a total of 20 points. Disappointed that Vieira picked up the injury and Campbell is still out for family reasons.

badgerman relly cugfht me up last week though, i hope i have a good weekend and keep my 1st place.
I've made a couple of changes this week. I've brought in Beattie for Andy Cole. I've had to bring in some cheap, not so good players in order to improve my team if you know what I mean so I can afford better players. Now I've got Beattie, I hope he performs well to compensate for the other changes which have cost me points.

Oh well, hopefully this week will see me doing better.
I managed 47 in my CL Fantasy team, so that's a minor consolation.
Well, I was the highest point scorer out of the Arsenal - Newcastle game on Friday then had a shocking weekend! :rolleyes:

Nope, I had a good week last gameweek and things are on the up for me. If Andy Cole has another abysmal week (-1 last time around) however, I may contemplate replacing him.
I'm still deciding on who should be captain for this week. My previous picks weren't the most wise.
I didn't make any transfers this week either. I thought I should take a break from transfers this gameweek, increase my points profit for the week maybe? :rolleyes:

I don't think it's wise to always take the option of the free transfer every gameweek. The rules state that if in the case of the points tally being the same for the two leaders at the end of the season, the manager with the least transfers would prevail. So, you never know...
And anyway, if you have a winning formula, don't tinker with it.

Oh, I've had a bad day in fantasy land. Effectively, four of my players weren't playing so I guess I can't blame it on poor performances. One player, Malbranque, left to play against Pompey on Monday. I expect no less then 16 goals.
