I think Timesplitters 2 is one of the greatest FPSs of all timeso wat do u think is better Timesplitters or Halo

No, to be honest I haven't played any of the single player missions or challenges in ages. I've just been playing custom arcade with my mates and against the CPU.

Just out of interest what is your highest score for the Behead the undead - Fight Off the Living Dead challenge? Mine is 112300. I sent a video of this to PSM2 magazine who run a TS2 high scores comp. At the time of sending I would have been top of the list but by the time they recieved my score it had been beaten by someone else...well beaten infact. So D'OH!

TS2 does rock. But Halo is a very diff FPS. It is excellent as a single player or co-op game where there is a story and so on. TS2 is excellent as a multi-player FPS.

Yeah, as I said before I haven't played Halo but TS2 is at it's best in multiplayer!

My brother has got halo on his xbox and i have played both single player and co-op i must say it is good but does become repetitive as the enemy is always the same as there are only three different species.
I love timesplitters as when u get 100% u have unlocked over 100 characters, the multiplayer is so much fun and i never get bored plus i feel the single player is better than halos as not one two levels are the same, i love the idea of odjectives which the mission relies on but also the fun secondary missions like shoot 5 beer barrels. Also timesplitters 2 has a much wider choice in weapons from minigun to Brick where halo only has about 9.
I think the graphics are better too, some people say they are cartoony but i think the face are amasing the eyes move the move move and when u shoot them they put there hand over the area hit. I can not remember my behead score but i have 100% with 15 platinums and all the rest golds

try to finish it 100% as u unlock cool characters like Robofish, and Dinosaur, u can also unlock new arcade missions like virus and new areas, u will also get cheats like big heads and turning heads.
And when playing the single player remember to pick up the 3 games anaconda( not sure on the spelling) Retro racer and astro lander , However i did not pick up retro racer the first time or when i did it the secnd time with co-op mode but did remember the 3rd time its in the robo factory under the stairs on hard mode ( God yes it is hard).

I don't if I have said this b4 but... Halo and TS2 are FPSs yes. Same game? no. Halo is a great 1-2 player game that really immerses you. TS2 is a great multiplayer game to play with a load of mates.

I aint played Halo, but I have rented both timesplitters and timesplitters 2, I have got to say i had more fun with Timesplitters, but that's mostly cause I didn't get the chance to play TS2 with some of my mates, I played the multiplayer alot more on TS as single player weren't any good, Catch the bag is the best game mode ever, I absolutely love it. in TS2 the single player was much better and they improved teh multiplayer but it was still really great.

We played TS2 multi quite a few times and it was great. But the only shame was one widescreen for 3/4 and one 14" tv for 2. Was a bit cramped on-screen

i think ts2 has a much better single mode aswell. anyone heard of ts3 hope they make it .

The only thing I've heard about TS3 is that Activison will be stepping in for Free Radical Design. If they have only just decided on who's gonna make the game, I can't see the game coming out for a while yet. :(

to be honest halo wins it for me easily, one or two player. halo has the best one player (or 2 player co-op) experience of any game i have ever played. the graphics, gameplay, sound and plot all ooze of hollywood.

the 2 player deathmatch mode in halo is also my preferred choice due to some ingenious levels and great controls not to mention having a 4 player link up is my best gaming experience ever.

i have TS2!

My favourite character is the Bear, cos all my mates get pissed off by his cheesy grin! My mate also likes to play as Sergio, the really old guy in a Leopard Skin Leotard! Its easily the best non sport multiplayer on the PS2!

I recommend getting 4 mates round and play in the Hangar level. Make the only weapon available a Sniper! The tension in those games is ace!

have you unlocked all the characters and played the mini games like retro racer, and astro lander they are great fun. So i started this thread almost a year ago and it shows that both Halo and timesplitters have there own qualities and that people have many different opions. So lets look out for Halo2 and Timesplitters3 and then which will be the best i vote Timesplitters3 but i know you out there will disagree.
