Liverpool In For Stephen McPhee

Liverpool are supposedly lookin at Stephen McPhee(Beira-Mar),McPhee also used to play for Port Vale.

What are your views on this.

I think that there is no way he will sort out our striking problems, and think it would be a waste but hey he's only 23.

Well thats what i mean, but look at arsenal they have brought in so many unknown players and turned them into superstars.

Yes, please provide the source L.F.C as i am interested to see who Stephen McPhee is? I have never heard of him before..interesting that Benitez is apparently looking at bringing him in, is he Irish?

I saw this a couple of weeks ago in Portugese on the Stoke Messageboard.

I wouldn't sign him for Stoke(we were interested), nor Rotherham(so were they) nor any other Championship side(most of these were too). The most Leeds were willing to pay was £75k for him so for Liverpool to buy would be complete idiocracy. But I'm probably looking through red and white tinted specs. :)

If he can't get in the Scottish team, thats a big indication of his talent.

He's good. But not good enough for Liverpool. However, I think he's extremely good for Beira-Mar which is great for the Portuguese Championship..It's getting more competitive every year.
