View Full Version : PES 4 Online play with ADSL router
Hi there... :) just received a small Alcatel Speedtouch Router. Problem is... i don't understand very well how to open ports and all those tricky things... anyway... i opened the 5739 port used for online play in PES4.. but somehow i can only connect to my oponnent for about one minute... than it goes down.... :(
I connected my modem directly to adsl line instead of the router and the game runs super nice!! but it's not a very comfort option is it? :s
Anyone here clever enough to help me out?? ;)
Thks

no!! do NOT open all the ports! that would just simply get rid of the fact of having a router and may as well say "hey come and hack me!" to all the hackers out there and especially disabling your f.w!
NEVER do that!
Hey! I know about that!!... it's just that i want to use that option while i'm playing online... even so i would try to get my mcafee firewall still running... but please tell me how to open the ports or how to make my connection stable after opening the 5739 UDP port for Pes4 online play.
i go out by a lan and pes4 give me the internal ip !
so i can't host!
what the f..k i can do?
PLEASE HELP ME !!! i

Maybe you have it set to filter UDP port flooding: If not, perhaps it is set to block fragmented packets. Make sure both options are unticked (i.e. don't have them selected). I don't have any specific knowledge of your particular router, as I use a Netgear FR114P Firewall/router.
i get same problem with a netgear router ive opedn the default port but its not having none of it . my router is netgear wgr614v2, at least i know its not just my specifc router
this needs to be bumped and anyone know a officail pro evo 4 online support site. i need my wireless router theres 3 computers on the network. so i dont want to keep unplugging my modem from the router
I have the same problems too, but i use linksys WRT54G router. Can anyone help??
