I've noticed that i've gone from a Club Captain to a Registered User since the merging of the 2 sites, it has also happened to jag aswell, why has this happened Hitman?

the 2 sites aint merged yet... but i did update the forum software.

im trying to correct it. if you notice some people still have their old titles.

which logo? the small one which i put on the forums a couple of weeks ago? or the banner logo on the main site?

but anyway, the main banner is....

and the small one..... i dont really know. I did some effects on it though whatever it is. it may well be arial black.

I think there should be 2 post counts, one for pesinsight and one for the grand total including those from other forums such as Rjs37.

This would be so that people don't assume people from other forums have been at pesinsight a lot. It wouldn't be good for visitors to be PMd and interrogated about WE7 patches etc as they may not know about them.

im struggling to merge the forums as it is zyg.... so that would just complicate things further. maybe once everything is merged ok i will invesitage doing that.

I have to say I agree with zyg. I think there should be a distinction between posts made on PESInsight and those made on other forums. Otherwise it will look like other people have made vast contributions to the forum when they may be relative newcomers.

I'm sure hitman will figure something out.

Here's a suggestion: Everyone with posts not only from PESinsight adds this fact to their signature so people know who are the 'deep' PES/WE people and who aren't.

yea, my post count at xfn (new name being evomed when the merge hapens) is 5,100 or just less, I aint the top poster either, theres 1 person with a bit more than e, and Mez who is also registered here, has 6,000+ posts there. so most likely it'd be the people here that are considered as the n00bs compared to the afn portion of the members, but what is the point of distinction between teh members, that'd be splitting them up, teh forums are all goingt o be together I think so why split them up after emrging them together.

It's not a case of splitting up. If the idea of a signature line isn't OK for you, maybe you can suggest something else, unless you want people do harrass you for PES/WE information.

why woudl they do that?, it's not like people are gonna start pm'n other people for information, I really can't see your reasoning for the suggestion you made, the people (if any) that would pm people would obviosuly pm the people that post in the actual pes/we specific forums, i just can't see how people would be harassing the xfn members for info about pes/we.

Yea, it'll only be then, that I'll start believing you, maybe you could just change your ct when this forum merges with the xfn one, as making it say PES Moderator or whatever, cause at the other forum, you do get default ct's but if your a staff member/got enough posts (forgot how much it is)then you can change it.
