The charity shield is between FA cup winners and premiership winners right? So what if one team wins both?
the runner up plays instead.

Yeah, and they call it the "Community Shield" now.
Even crapper name! :D
why change it from charity to community? are the profits given to a community rather than a charity?

I dunno, just a stupid thing that the FA do.
what about the carling cup instead of worthington? silly again.
it sounds better than worthington though. do you remember when it was called the Coca Cola Cup?
I liked the coca cola cup. What about The Littlewoods FA Cup?
Definitely Maybe

Its all about sponsers. Carling sponser the League Cup, so it becomes the Carling Cup.
Coca Cola cup was by far the best.
i agree. Carling cup sounds shite. they;ve taken the 2 leg thing away also. Sunderland were lucky. Kyle the hero both ends.

The non FA cup is also known as The League Cup.
I think this one was the milk cup for a while. Sponsored by the milk companies to encourage people to be healthy or something.
why dont they call it the healthy eating cup final then zy? LOL, i guess the axa cup wants every one to have insurance. Subliminal advertising.

For absolutely ages the league cup was called the milk cup. I loved the idea of a big trophy full of milk when I was a kid!
Lovejoy!
