even though i cant stand the owls i have goto say there supporters are second to none,20,000 every week even though there team is shocking.they'll prob get promoted this season though.

I agree, 20,000 plus is up there with anyone at this level. But that's not my point. Trust me, living among Owl's supporters is brilliant(!). Last year they were going to walk it because they r a 'massive club'. As the season dragged on they were 'unlucky with injuries', 'bad refs' etc etc etc.

Then this season, they sign a few players in the summer and they will 'hammer' the division again. As we can see from the league table and the results this year, it isn't the case.

The icing on the cake tho, is whenever they lose, you don't hear from them at all. I mean, I think they vanish from the face of the earth! But after 1 victory, like Sunday, they are 'the best team around' or 'kings of south Yorkshire' or 'play offs easy' etc etc.

Rant over, hope all you non Owls out there are up to date and if any one cares, they've played the mighty Chesterfield 3 times since being in this league, only got 2 points and have been outplayed for at least 180 mins out of 270!

yeah i suppose your right timmy they do all come out of the woodwork after a victory.theres a woman at work whos a weds fan and when they got relegated to div 2 i phoned her to take the piss and i ended up making her cry hahahaha i did feel a little bit evil after.still funny tho.

I only came on here asking for stats and that was it!!!

Anyway as far as the majority of wednesday fans go we know that we dont deserve to be as high up in League one as we are, the only reason we are 4th is due to the hero known as Paul Sturrock. We know we have no god given right to win this division and we also know that we arent going to batter every team!

I think you need to start worrying about your own club and not worrying about Wednesday!

You should have been at cradiff. You would have seen the fans are class. We got best fan base in country by far.
