Firstly Created by X-group

Okay You First Download The Patch (Also Has Extra Sound Patch available But I Didnt Download It .. 3x75mb 1x48mb Took Some Time Well 20mins)

The Only Way This patch will work is if you have the game saved to your hard drive and jus ftp the files across to its directory.. and tadah dun once youve overwritten da files..

Their is a second way but you could i believe put the files in the cd image if you have pro evo 4 in a cd image for xbox and overwrite the files in their.

The Main Menu Has Changed With More Attractive Icons And The Backgrounds of each menu have changed. More Leagues Added.. Okay enuff of dat der described in quote below i think..
but lets talk about the affect of the performance of the game..
Ive played the game once with the patch last night wit dad.. he was latvia and me usa.. changed em to the euro all stars n world all stars.. noticed that the game seem'd to lose it passion werent as fast and when takin a shot they seemd to have less power.. hmm well 2nd match classic brazil vs netherlands (orange powa and im british friendly soon) and noticed the same kinda thing ill try without the patch had the files backed up :D

downloaded the patch last night, and the graphics are great. The only problem is that somehow the gameplay has become a bit lame. I had to put it on 5 stars just to get a semi decent game against the computer and even then I was running past defenders with ease (I know I'm ok at Proevo but I'm not that good!!!). If that problem could be sorted this patch would be the answer for me because apart from that its great.

no mate, I don't know how they've done it but its as if they've rewritten the .exe file (or the xbox equivalent). All the names and faces have been updated as have the kits (plus changed collars etc so they are what they should be)...all without an option file.

It really is a great patch but the gameplay is suffering for it (IMO). I suppose it'd be ok for 2 player games Vs someone else but against the Computer its just too easy.

I'm having trouble getting this patch to work. I follow the directions, but whenever I'm about to play a game a pop-up says "there's a problem w/ the disk you're using it may be dirty or damaged". Is this happening to anyone else? Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this problem?

okay my gameplay i believe is now AWESOME way bta.. u have to delete your option file because the option file doesnt match with the patch which = more processing of cpu and makes the game lame.. ive played my master league and loved it back to speed perhaps fasta castolo rules lol :D .. and and and 1p vs 2p is awesome i think the patch has increased the game from 10/10 to 11/10 :P anyway please delete ur option file ill post a how to if u need me 2

Right, after a few days of play I have come to the conclusion that there is a star missing :) ( play on 3 stars is like playing on 2 stars). I might be wrong, but I think there is a difference...easy way around it is to go up a star. The patch itself is awesome, all kits, proper names, all transfers...even a few supporters textures. The Italian guys that did this have done a great job and its well worth the download if anyone is thinking of getting it.

I have ripped the game to the hdd. And i also tried it step bu step. 1st i copied the e_text.asf and 0_sound.asf.... started the game and it was working , then I copied the 0_text.asf over to the hdd and started the game, but it crashed immediately.

I think there's something wrong with the 0_text.asf or I am doing something wrong.

resize i didnt resize mine all i did was open 2005.part1.rar and extract that file no need to extract the rest of the files

Does anyone know, specifically what has been updated and or modified, i.e. EXACTLY what boot styles, what types of chants and for which teams, what about the field textures has changed, etc. And is the Seoul Sang-Am Champions League Stadium suppose to have the Finale design in the center circle of the pitch? I've seen this in some screens before.

And I know this doesn't belong here, but I was just wondering if anyone knows of an option file that goes along with this update pretty well? I deleted my original option file because I heard it was corrupting the gameplay by using it. An option file that has: Ball type, ML League composition and 6 stars unlocked is all I'm really looking for, but an option file that has everything unlocked EXCEPT Classic players would be great as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch and this patch truly is the icing on the cake. :D

All those who are getting the 'disc dirty or damaged' error I believe is due to you patching the Beta version of the game. I have both versions and I tried to patch the Beta version which subsequently gave me that message when I tried to load it from the HDD.

The Retail version works perfectly with the patch but the only disappointment is the button configuration cannot be made the same as ps2. I have the pad converter but there is always a subtle difference in the configuration that cannot be changed.

All in all patch is good, roll on the next update.

i think this is a media problem example you might have a samsung drive that reads anything and your friend might have a thompson :eek:

i installed it...but i guessed everything....now my pes is so weird lol

-the kits are all good...xcept al the numbers are weird a weird ugly type.
-sum key players are gone missing
-my screen moved to the right...wtf??
-sum players who had real faces are now reset , for example bergkamp has another face than his own.
-some of the team names r weird...fc barcelone
-lots of players have a 2 in front of there name ex. (2giggs)

I don't have the patch, so I can't tell you for sure, but I'm pretty sure you won't be able to play on Xbox Live with the patched game. It actually replaces some of the game's files and so you have to either play it off the HD or burned to DVD (both of which will get you banned from Live)

Hrm, I seemed to unrar it fine. No errors. And then I replaced my original files on the HD and it worked fine.

On somewhat of a side note, I played one game with it and I think I might like the DarioX patch better for some reason. But I still really appreciate you doing a repost. Lemme know if you have any other problems.

The X-Group patch isn't bad, but I just have a few minor complaints that I don't seem to have with the DarioX patch. here are a few complaints:

- Either my friend and I were playing extraordinarly good defense or the gameplay has been tweaked a bit because it seemed harder to get a drive going. I couldn't really tell what was different, but it just felt a little off.
- I kind of don't like how it has "X-Group" on every single menu/screen just to remind me that I'm running a patch. It makes the game look less professional and it's unnecessary.
- The music on some of the screens is too short and, when looped, it gets annoying real fast.
- It doesn't have the yellow ball that I've gotten used to (and like)

Yes, these are all minor gripes. I can tell that X-Group put in a lot of work on their patch and it's generally very good. If I had the choice, though, I'd go for the DarioX patch.

For the X-Group patch, you have to download all of the links. You can get away with only downloading the patch (4 parts) or only the sound patch (3 parts) but why not just get them all?

Let me know once you get it modded and everything. Essentially, what you have to do is install a new dashboard (EvoX, Xbox Media Player, etc.) Hook up your xbox to the router and the router will assign the xbox with an IP address. Connect your computer to the same router and use a program such as CuteFTP or FlashFXP (or equivalent) and login to your xbox and transfer the game (and modified files) over.

I realize this is a very simplified version, but let me know what specific questions you have and I'll try to help.

I just went into my MS Dashboard and went to "Memory" and to PES4 and deleted the option file there. That should work.

When I install the dariox patch I have a problem with Highbury. When close to the goal the screen has a glitch and you can't see whats going on. I also don't like the Man Utd red nets but everything else seems good.

I think earlier in this thread I posted where to find the DarioX patch. Not sure if it's still there, and as for the X-Group patch I don't know where to find that anymore. Again though, I liked the DarioX patch better.

As for a tutorial, I suppose it depends on whether you're running the game from the HD or not. If you are, simply unpack the RAR files and FTP to your Xbox (you'll need a mod chip and a modified dashboard to do this, of course) and then overwrite the existing files from the game. You might want to backup the original files just in case something goes wrong.

As for the Xbox Live banning, I believe if you ever go online with your mod chip on, you will get banned. Simply having the game on the hard drive shouldn't do it, but I remember hearing about a supposed hard drive check they were doing (though I didn't really read too much into it, so I'm not sure.) Hope this helps.

Search for the thread "All xbox patches here" it has torrent links for all avaliable xbox patches. If you want to know about Xbox modding etc then dont ask here, your posts will undoubtly be removed from the forums by administrators.

u seem clued up on this. i'm a total dumbass to all of this stuff but i really want all the real strips for pro evo. here's the details: I've got Pro Evo 4 on the XBOX. i don't have a live subscrition and my XBOX isn't chipped so how do i get the real kits?

supercaldy, you can only get the real kits by patching your game.
The next best thing is to download an updated option file with kits edited ingame and transfer it to your xbox using an xbox Max Drive.

And you certainly don't need xbox live to update your kits.
