View Full Version : Terrible foul with dramatic end..
I dont know of you foreign people already heard it but the dutch people for sure. But I found a link on the internet which shows the foul. But this is the story:
In the second division of Holland (De Gouden Gids Divisie) there was a game between Go Ahead Eagles and Sparta and the victim was Niels Kokmeijer and the one who pulled the tackle was Rachid Bouaouzan. The match was already played but still this guy Bouaouzan pulls this crazy tackle..
The consequences of his action were:
Kokmeijer will never play football again.. He has a double bone fracture by his calf (right? the part under the knee..) and has already been operated 4 times. His musles and veints were all destroyed now Kokmeijer gets a muslce from his back to his calf in the hope he can ever walk again..

Kokmeijer in the hospital..
Here is the video, but be aware its a terrible foul and not for the young people under us...
Terrible foul.. (http://www.irhfchaarlem.myadsl.nl/Kokmeijer%20Beenbreuk%20door%2 0beestachtige%20overtreding.wm v)
Rachid Bouaouzan has been suspended for just 10 games by the KNVB..

That's truely disgusting. Kokmeijer should sue Bouaouzan, dirty git. My thoughts go out to Kokmeijer.

that's a disgraceful tackle. I agree with nath, he should take legal action against Bouaouzan.

Stupid tit! That must be the most frustrating thing in the world...knowing that you won't be able to play footy again!
Oh Kokmeijer is going to take legal action against Bouaouzan..

What a disgusting foul. I hope Kokmeijer is hit hard after that. I'm surprised their aren't more incidents like that, with the number of times you see players going in looking like they have the same kind of intentions as that dirty little shit Bouaouzan.
Like I said at a similar thread, why didn't he pull his leg back ? It was pretty obvious the cunt was aiming for the boy.
Ohhh, feel for the guy :( , what would possess someone to do that
Horrible tacke! But it's not the worst I've seen... All of my sympathy to Kokmeijer.
Kinda reminds me of the Henrik Larsson tackle. Hopefully this guy can atleast gain his mobility again. And hopefully the guy who comitted the tackle is forced out of football in some way.

Yeah true, but he didn't?
It's not as bad as some I've seen but imagine never playing football again because of some idiot who went for you cos he was a little heated? Plus if that's all he had then what's he gonna do now?

Exactly, I don't mean to sound harsh, I feel very sorry for the outcome and hope he recovers miraculously. But did he expect the guy to let him have a free shot, without a challenge ?
That is terrible but i have seen worse. But hope him a speedy recovery.

That's a disgraceful tackle whether you walk away from it or not. As it happens the poor lad's career is over and he'll face months of uncertainty.
The worst injury, not tackle I've ever seen was the compound fracture on Coventry City defender David Buust against Man U. Denis Irwin meant no malace in his challenge but it resulted in David's shin bone spliting his flesh and looking like a second joint as his trailing leg gave way under his own body weight. I've decided not to add a link to the image because it is genuinely distressing. I've included enough key words for those wishing to search for the image online. The good news is that I read in the first couple of days in the new year that David was offering light training and coaching to Coventry school children.
Back to the Dutch incident, you don't go in like that and the aggressor deserves what ever he gets. I do feel a little surprised that the KNVB would allow someone back in their league after such a tackle. Having said that I suppose you could say that about the FA in regard to Eric Cantona's infamous kung foo kick at Selhurst Park a decade ago.

We have had tons of conversations about the Busst incident even posted pictures in some thread a while ago.

It wasn't at a player though, it was at a fan who was a twat which evens itself out.
Soft diving foreigners!
In the old days you'd run that off and kick him back later on, now it's off to the hospital for months and gaining your revenge through lawsuits.
In seriousness, that's a horrible tackle and a ten match ban is a complete injustice when you consider the consequences he caused.

LiamK is right.
About the Buust incident, am i right in saying Schmeichel was sick at the side of the goals?
There's no need for stuff like that in football. You can tell by the look on Bouaouzan's face when he goes in that he went in with intent. Sick, sick man.

There was also a rumour that he had therapy after the incident, but he denied that in an interview.
One of the worst things about the incident was the photo of Buust's leg in a mangled state, it's one of the most infamous images in football.

Not a nice tackle but not the worst. Sorry for the guy though.
damn...i hate playing football with guys like that!
it looks like Kokmeijer was only trying to clear the ball out of defence! he aint even trying to score, it is totally absurd.

thats a horrible tackle.. but i dont think that you should be able to sue for injuries on the field.. that is opening a can of wroms really..
shit .... tahts a really bad tackle . but i think the guy that had broken his leg should just jump to avoid injuries like that . but really that short guy should be banned from proffesional soccer if he has intend on doing that
Has anyone watched it and as it happened paused it ? It looks worse. I feel sorry for the poor guy.

This guy had made it professionally and was set to make a ton of money during his career. Now some twat comes and ends his career and prevents him earning any more money. I tihnk he's every right to sue him for his lost earnings.

What a sad sad story.
I did the same thing to my leg about 3 weeks ago.
Broke my tibia into 4 pieces and fibula in half.
I'm only out for a year or so.
It isn't nearly as bad as what happened to him, but it still sucks.
Hopefully he can still fufill his love for soccer some way.
Two words...
Yellow card!
Nah, not really. I paused it. Looks very bad. Similair to the video where it shows Larsson breaking his leg. What worries me is that he may not ever walk again. If I was a teamate of the victim, I'd go and kick the shit out of that dirty w@nker!

The punishment for tackles of this sort should be a suspension for the duration of the victim's absence. Plus a gargantuan compensation package.
Any pics of Luc Nilis' 'big break' - which in my opinion looked even more painful?
I can't find any pics of the Nilis injury Flipper, but I remember seeing the pic, when his leg wraps round Richard Wright's leg.
EDIT: I managed to find one

WHAMMO! OUCHIE!
I remember seeing I think it was Ben Thornley get injured once. Put it this way, at first I thought it was his shinpad sticking up through his sock.

I wish Ben Thornley was then humanely destroyed. Then he wouldn't have been able to come to Aberdeen.
The fat shit.

LOL hitman. That is the worse challenge ive ever seen while watching football. Seeing his leg just dangling like that is terrible. The challenge on larrsson wasnt even a challenge they were just running, that was a disgusting challenge. But i know this may sound stupid, but how do we know that guy wasnt going for the ball?Maybe he put his leg high to block the cross/shot?I fell its a bit strange that he got a ban for it  as it was only a challenge for the ball...well maybe it was a challenge for the ball. But i think all that should of happened that kochiemer (cant remember his name) should take legal action and if that guy does a challenge like that again he gets a ban from football.
just my thoughts tho.
if i was the victims team mate i would of fucked the other player who done the tackle its a terrible tackle should be fined for years.

I know this is immature, but i think your choice of word "fucked" comes across, well not exactly offensive more sexually. Made me laugh when i read it, you must like that player alot. :)

I remember that, poor guy.
We may as well rename this thread the broken leg thread.
Here's another one
Ouchee (http://www.gougoule.com/ma-jambe/)
that is one bad foul it reminds me of what happend on monday. In school we was having a game of footie on the fields and a boy from my class had the ball then one of my mates slided him and all you couls hear was 'snap' we all ran over to see him he was screaming on the floor and the teacher had to phone an ambulance, well today the teacker told us that he had snapped his legs in two different places, everyone was congradulating my mate (disgusting play)
That is a bad tackle but as many have said there are worse most weeks. The David Buust one had terrible reults.
Worst I have seen live was when Hitzleberg of Villa did a similar one, but from above, on Mathew Upson but used both legs. He was sent off but Upson while down for a few minutes just carried on like the true hero he is. I was amazed it didnt break his leg as for a minute the Villa players whole weight was on Upsons outstretched leg.
Another terrible tackle was the world cup in 1986 game between Denmark and Scotland. Now I dont know how many of you may remember him but Charlie Nicholas could have gone on to be a world class player. He frightened Denmark so they targeted him and took him out - cant remember how long he was injured for but it killed Scotlands World Cup hopes.
Worst goalkeeper challenge - German GK Sshumakker when he took out French defender Battiston - the Frenchman went on to be the Germans best man at his wedding
So what's happened in that court case then?
And that bloke's leg break there is not right. How the fuck did his leg go like that? It's nearly impossible. The ref nearly trod on it and made it worse when trying to get the other fighter out of the way. That must have hurt.
