However, it downloads for me but doesn't actually play. Any special codecs required?

Sorry mate, but this is one of the rare times I'm not able tp open a video file. I tried everything - all the players including VLC (which plays literaly everything, even utterly unplayable files), I tried to convert it with VirtualDub, but it didn't recognize it, I checked the file with abcAVI Tag Editor and it didn't recognize it as video file at all which is impossible if it is an actual video file.
Beaver02, it's obvious your were smoking some heavy stuff while writing this post.
