I've just been on the official Everton site and they have a poll asking 'Would you welcome the return of Francis Jeffers?' 72% said yes, 28% have said no. Just wondering what other bluenoses think of this? I personally wouldn't mind him back at Goodison, he should never have left in the first place.

Might be interesting.
What about Dion Dublin going to Everton like I read somewhere. Are you up for that?

If he plays a bit more that would be good. If he is just warming the bench then he shouldn't go to Everton. Why do Villa want to send Dublin away? They've had a lack of goals for a while.

Also, blue, did you read that article on Duncan Ferguson? What's your opinion of him?

No i didn't read the article, what did it say about him? I used to love big dunc when i was a kid but nowadays i think he is a waste of space and money, he should never have bought him back off Newcastle.
I wouldn't be keen on getting Dublin, i think he's too much of a similar player to the likes of Ferguson and Campbell.

It said that you shouldn't have bought him back. Bill Kenwright realises it as a big mistake but would never say. That big Dunc is quite happy to never play and keep taking the money. That he is a waste of space and money! But he has a big following as a cult figure so they can't get rid of him just like that...

I would prefer it if we got rid of him just like that!

I agree. I can't stand him. Clubs shouldn't have to put up with players who don't have any inclination to play or any loyalty to the team.

Dunc does have alot of loyalty to the club....he's probably one of the most loyal players at everton (he does have an Everton tattoo). The thing is with dunc is that he has been plagued with injuries throughout his career which have sidelined him for so long that when he does come back he won't get a game if the other strikers are doing well. Plus he'll get injured again. I still think its time for dunc to move on and find another club, especially if Jeffers comes back.

Yeah! But they can't actually get rid of him. Just been seeing that you and Boro are after Davis again

We are gonna get him, he only needs to have his medical and thats it.....Davis is an Everton player. He doesn't want to go to Boro.

Good for you. I'd like to see more competition in the Premiership. And you guys having a better team/squad will hopefully mean that.

I think i'd like Franny to come back it's just that when he left i did felt pissed off cause he left us at a time when we down on our knees we didn't know what was really goin on in the boardroom with Peter "wanker" Johnson, there was no Rooney but it seems to me that it's like he wants to come back knowing that we've now got good prospects ahead and i know he loves the club and i do want him to come back but what happens if we slump again. As for big Dunc to be brutally honest i've forgotton him it feels that he doesn't play for us anymore i know he's loyal and all but he should either take a pay cut or pack his bags

I remember Jeffers first return to Goodison in an Arsenal shirt. I never went to the game but i remember walking past the ground on my way to my mates. Just as i walked past, Jeffers was being brought on as a sub......the sound of the boo's and jeers where unbelievable. Anyway hopefully his next return will be cheers instead of jeers!

Yeah but that's good that there is such passion from supporters. As long as it's not properly abusive then that's fine.

Although there's nothing wrong with Dublin and Rooney. Or Radzinski/Jeffers and Dublin
