newcastle 1-2 man utd
i thought the mags could get a draw today but then i saw their back four ;)
Van divelrooy played well but the ginger ninja scholes is uniteds most important player :D

Yeah, great chest goal.
I think Keane was easily the man of the match today. He got the tackles in, set-up both Man Yoo goals (and the latter was 90% him, the rest Scholes).
I thought it would end even because the Mags got some good chances in near the end, most notably Chopra's in the 90th, which was blocked well by Rio.

newcastle's back four was actually the strong point today rondroid.... especially in the first half. they kept man utd pretty much at bay.... let themselves go off guard a couple of times in the 2nd... but it was mainly because of under performing midfield players (speed, robert and bowyer perticually) that less down. they didnt supply shearer or ameobi AT ALL. infact, i am pretty certain newcastle didnt make howard save a thing...

Obviously im a bit bias, but to b honest i think newcastle were nowhere near as gd as they were in the 1st half in the 2nd half. Also the defense wasnt the greatest as really o'brian should have been sent off for his late tackle. And to b honest man utd could have scored more as we had the opportunities. But ill give it to newcastle that they really gave it a fight and they were close to gettin a late equaliser.
