PES4 Option File.
Attached at the end of this post are the x-port and max drive versions of this new option file.
This is a modified version of the pesfan V3 option file, with kits edited to default and kit text adjusted so it can be used with a patched version of PES4.
Use this option file with jonboyo's patches to see patched kits (which are burned onto the patched disk, not stored on the option file).
This option file is not supposed to be used with the default (unpatched) version of the game so if you use it with an original PES4, you will only see the default kits.

Yes. Shop items unlocked.
players are transferred up-to-date. starting lineups are wrong for a some teams (bayern, dortmund, gladbach, not sure about arsenal and Real...)
will try and come up with a locked version (again ;-) ) for us who want to play ML...

Ronaldo-9 - the details of the file are posted above. If you don't have a patched PS2 PES4, then you do not want this file. Get the original pesfan V3 made for the original version of the game, as posted in another thread.

hi when i try to open the xport version of the file in either weditor or option file editer i get read errors! any ideas?

ok ive tried doing it the long way round by converting the xps to para.bin and importing in that way but my teams are really screwed up costiha is in like every squad! ive also tried converting the max drive version to xps and importing but i then get cant import database error with weditor! any help would be great thx?
Not again...
PESFan only takes care of the basic updates (move players and check the shirt numbers). They really don't care about the starting line-ups, or do they, eh?
I'll try this piece this weekend and see if it is any better than the other OF's around...

how to convert these files to bin/cue format?
i am not old enough to own a credit card and cant buy the xport online so onli chance for mi to get these opt files is by the cdr method. so i need the bin and cue format urgently=)
its will be better if the OF with the default kits and shop items unlocked is in bin/cue form.

You can convert to bin/cue using the guide posted in the General Editing section. Use the search and you should find it.

This should contain both the shop items locked and unlocked. Uncompress using WinRAR. If you don't want to use WinRAR then you can't uncompress these files to form the bin and cue. Guide to using WinRAR has been posted so use the search.

Ok, Ive loaded the disc in my PS2, but all I get is a PS2 Media player program, I click on browse & the option files are listed (Unlocked & Locked) but how do I copy them to my memory card?

i burned it into a cd and loaded it to my ps2. i got the Playstation 2 message and then the screen just fade to black and nuting happens.
any help pls?
i already read all around and could not find any help and of cos my ps2 is mod.

As I've said before, I use an x-port and/or max drive for my option files. Ask someone in that thread who managed to get it to work.

Yeah, I think someone has used the wrong program to load the Bin/Cue file to your option file, it's normally this screen

But the program is a PS2 Media Player, and there is no way to get the Option file from the CD-R to the Memory Card.
Can anyone else help?

I have a working version of the bin/cue files (i have used it myself)
If somebody shows me a place to upload it then i will ;)
I uploaded a para_we8.bin too, with this file are changes are permanent so the edited stats will remain in the ML too!
It was a peace of cake to create but maybe for the utterly lazy people who really are too lazy to do it, for those I uplaoded it and maybe you are such a person!

Got the file updated with Emanuel Eboue In arsenal ((Created))
pluse the OVER.AFS and SLES files if anybody fancy updating there game permantly :)

Do we have to be running a patched version to get this to work?
I've got the pesfan PS2 download file (v3), converted it and copied across from max drive to my memory card but the game simply refuses to recognise the new option file...even if i copy an original game file to the max drive and then copy the same file back again it will fail to recognise it.
Anything i'm missing? Any help much appreciated.

are these update like stats, boots. line up etc?

Player stats should not have been edited unless they created new players to put into the game. Boots may have been edited to suit the non-patched version so that will work out differently when playing on the patched version.
All squads should be updated as of the pesfan V3 release date.
I've updated the file posted here very little and in my own version, I've put Nedved back into the Czech team.

In the Player Settings screen press O and press right until it says Default and then press X. Repeat for each player.
Names over player heads lets you keep looking at the play instead of having to look down at the bar with names at the bottom of the screen.

Hi there, looking to get the bin and cue this Scrops option file but when i try to download from the link in the first page i always get "This IP .................. is not allowed to use the free-service anymore today. We detected very extreme downloads. Don't worry! This has not to be your fault." which means i can never download it. Anyone have any ideas how i could get this file, could someone possible email/send via msn?

No. The file is as the pesfan v3. As stated in the first post. Checking the release date of files would be a good idea.
