Did anyone see this documentry on bbc three.
shouldnt this be in Football Forum...
anyway what was it about mate ??
i was going to put it in the football forum but it is a documentry but maybe you're right. It was just about the last two years of the club and the drastic turnaround it has faced since joan laporta and his mates have taken over.A camera just followed him around showing the daily workings of the club,it showed an interesting clip of ronaldinho signing his contract among boyant seens between him and the barca directors. It was amazing how much the viewer got to see.

Moved to Football Forum as it will inevitably end up talking about football.
I didn't see it by the way, I wanted to but I was out. Was it worth watching?
Yeah I watched it aswell, it was interesting, alot of behind-the-scenes footage of the board of directors trying to sort out the club's finances.
The turnaround in fortune of the club was remarkable, in December they were 18 points behind Real, they overtook them by the end of the season. Laporta had recieved death-threats from a section of the fans, who were calling him a son-of-a-bitch in their chants, he had promised them Champions Leeague football and he was true to his word.
That comeback was, in my humble view, due in great part to the addition of Edgar Davids. Bless his feet.

Too right, an unsung hero.
The funniest part of the program was when all the director's were at a wedding and instead of celebrating and dancing like the others, they were huddled round in a corner watching the Barcelona game.

That's excatly what I would do. I found weddings awfully boring.
I'm sure you wont find yours that boring...

it would be interesting to see how quiet those fans are now.
