Does anyone have any suggestions on points and limits...

currently we are thinking

1800 max limit

special skills
A injury rating = 4 stars
B injury rating = 5 stars
C injury rating = 6 stars

But then we might have to consider a different system for the few stats that are out of 8.

attached is the temporary template, so don't go filling it in and sending it to me or your manager before we have decided on this system. Or we will have to hunt you down and cut off your internet access.

Should keepers have a lower limit, say 1400/1500 or something? Some are too good.

The rest all looks good to me.

( I thought you were going to cut off something else.....)

I think that's a good idea, different limits for keepers. And maybe a point to position restriction, so everyone doesn't have 5 positions odd.

You have quite an imagination there Zygalski and internet access is the code ;)

With the extra Stats the and with the maximum amount you can use being 1800, the players are gonna be quite crap. Are you still keeping at a minimum of 30 for each skill? I think maybe 20 would be better.

I also think the players aren t that good, I agree with bluescouse that you can put the minimum to 20 that would be fine. So you can adjust some skills better. So the players will play very differnt and thats all about right?

Which stats are out of 8 then?

I agree with the idea about keepers having less than 1800 points. That's like when they (keepers) get less points each game than outfield players when training promising players.

There are about 3 to 5 stats out of 8.
One is for how strong the weaker foot is.
One is for how the player's condition changes.

I'll post all the stats available and what their range is tomorrow.

I've had an idea on how we can keep using existing stats. For all, we will exclude the 3 out of 8 stats, and zero (set to 1 - the goal keeper skills for outfield players). Therefore the value of play stability can go to agility (unless you want to change it), but we have a redo the specials taking into account the new stats.

So essentially we are not really gaining any stats, therefore I see no reason to change the 1800 limit. I'll start work after my actual work on the teams.

Still just have to finalise the 1-8 stats with stars and positions.

Big boss from extreme had some great ideas which the others seemed fine with..

For the 3 stats which are out of 8, we should give about 15 or 16 points to distribute freely,

so for example:

Play stability 4
Condition Stability 5
Other foot accuracy 6

which makes 15 points together.


For the stars i would suggest:

Injury A = 3
B = 4
C = 5

And last one, you should get 2 or 3 positions for free, and for each more u lose a star ability.

Does anyone have a clear definition of what Play stability and Condition Stability really mean?

This is just an assumption but i guess Play Stability would mean how consistant the player performs in matches and Condition Stability would mean how well his fitness level would carry on to the next game.

please don't retaliate violently with harsh comments as i am a softy but i think....you should get 1900 for not having any extra stats e.g ( injury a, dribbling, marking e.t.c.)

It is a fair point, but I tried to move away from stats and stars interferring, otherwise people will say if I have this injury and this amount of stars then can I have ...... amount of stat points.

As the injury and specials are optional it's really up to you if you want them or not, but you won't benefit. If we change the system I think it will just get more complicated.

This is kind of what is being agreed on, can anyone suggest a good limit for max keeper points?

Let's ask someone who will want to be a keeper to make themselves with a limit of 1200 and see how it goes. Sounds fine to me but then I'm not a keeper.

Zyg, what do you think about changing the points limit? Or maybe just the 30 minimum for individual stats? as earlier suggested... Seems like a lot of people are moaning.

Having thought a bit more, I was going to say 30 is the best. Yay for 30! My player has been 80% complete for about a month now. Should finish it tonight.

Why not just leave it at 30? People are moaning because the automatic assumption is that a player isn't good enough unless all his stats are 99. More restricted points will make people have to think a lot more about where to give their points.

Horray we all agreed. Has anyone got a final list of special attributes.

But I haven't managed to check the editing and won't get a chance until I'm back in the uk, so if someone with PES3 could just let me know what we are working with, it would be most appreciated. :)

How about the special skills Zyg? and what the hell is "running out?"?

Excel file is superb mate, hopefully those with excel will use it and benefit. But one thing I noticed was the stars, it's slightly less...

- injury rating A= 3 special stars, B=4 s.stars, C=5 s.stars

But apart from that it's great...I'll pass it around if you don't mind, might speed up production. ;)

:) They have given them strange names but I think most of them are the same as in PES2.
I think Running Out is to do with being caught offside. Let's see whether or not (F.) Inzaghi has this star!
Running out is probably someone who wants to rush forward to score a lot, often getting caught offside.

I'll fix the excel file now. Glad it's OK.

We have a slight problem with the super geeks out there that like to pick their eyes, nose :p and whatever suits them. So we may need a different template...but I won't be able to get one together until i get back, any chance you could have a look later mate?

As for everyone else, since V2 is correct so far and has received approval, feel free to use it to create yourselves. If you want to go deep into face creation, you'll have to wait till tonight.

New ruling...

GKs have a new point limit of 1400.

I have had more suggestions but the amount of times we are going to amend them might be too much. It also doesn't help me being is such a different time zone.
