View Full Version : Forum time = wrong

Unless it's just a problem on my end, the forum time is wrong (2 hours slow in fact). So the time for "last post" is two hours earlier than the actual time it was posted. This makes it a little awkward when seeing if there are any more recent replies since you last checked. Just thought I'd point it out (in the right section I hope)

It's one hour behind for me.
Time for me right now is 00:07.

The forum time is an hour behind for me like it is for Zy. It's been like this for some time now!

mine seems to be fine, I posted this at 11:51 and the time says 11:51. I think to make it correct, you have to go into your profile and select something about "Daylight Savings".

elliottume
28-08-2003, 10:58
aha! 've found out. It says "Daylight Savings Options" You just need to say "DST corrections always off"

It works for me, anyway. (and mine is 6 minutes fast)

Paul B
28-08-2003, 11:48
Nope, that doesn't work for me. It puts the time back a further hour!

elliottume
28-08-2003, 16:08
well, have you set the time to two hours in the future and then do what I said? Because those are my settings, and it is only six minutes out.

hitmanuk2k

ok, i have changed a setting. the time should be ok now (Should be UK time).... you may have to re-alter your control panel setting if you changed it or to suit your time zone.

Paul B

It's still an hour behind for me! :(

Evo

All times are GMT +1 hour. The time now is 01:30

i get that currently and the time is 2:30 so 1:30 + 1 hour = 2:30 :p

dnt see a prob here are you all sure youve got your time thingy set correctly in your user cp?

hitmanuk2k
29-08-2003, 09:17
it should be that all times are GMT +2 hours though evo.... because then the clock would be correct and not an hour behind. I have mine set correctly... just everyone play around with ur cp

Hey man, time is not linear... chill for some time and it'll all sort itself out. That's synchronicity!

Evo

rebusrahman

We all need time or we are caught in the moment/quantum singularity?

Zygalski

Yep, gotta take care of that space-time continuum.

elliottume

Zygalski

Robinho

why is it set at GMT+1 ?? surely it should be set at GMT because the majority of users here are british and running on the GMT time zone.

hitman could possibly sort it out through the board options when he returns from holiday?

Mambo
08-09-2003, 11:06
I've now changed mine to GMT + 2 which seems to work with me. I agree that it is odd that GMT doesn't work seeing as that's the time it should be set at

Robinho

Hitman - look for a default option in the admin centre of this forum. See if you can sort it out so everybody doesnt have to manually change it.

If you check above, this is happening to everyone for the time being.
In your options, change the time to -5.
