Games will be played in here, post all comments and questions here, all threads will be deleted.

-Thank you to Hitman for helping us out and adding two sections.
Who would be starting the threads for games?
I suggest leaving this job to the home team's member. Or else one of you mods, highway or Colt can do the 5 games all at once.
Also wish to clarify how long are people allowed to vote and the number of days between each match.

If HP or I were to do it then all matches would be posted within minutes of each other. Where as the home player may not be available.

From that we'll do all the matches.
So it should work a lot faster than last time.

Alright, we are close to finishing the picking.
We'll start the D1 season first, and then wait in the middle transfer window, Spring Transfer Window, for D2 to catch up, then we can start together.

how about top 4 in divsion 1 are in,winner of divsion 1 cup and winner of divsion 2 cup (if there is cups)then top of league plays divsion 2 cup winner second plays divsion 1 cup winner then third plays fourth??

0-2 votes = 0 goals
3-5 votes = 1 goals
6-8 votes = 2 goals
8-10 votes = 3 goals
11-13 votes = 4 goals
14-16 = 5 goals

I reckon 4 votes should equal 1 goal, otherwise everybody would be having scorelines like 5-3 easily.

There seems to be around 25 people voting in each 2-day poll. I think 15 come from our members, and 10 come of other members.
We should get a logo to stick in our sigs to promote this ;)

Then goals should be a fraction of the votes.

That was what I had thought of, but it would mean the sum of both sides' goals would always be constant.
Like 5-0, 4-1, 3-2 ... etc would all produce the same total number of goals.

This' coming in next season isn't it :cool: But anyway some suggestions:
- 1 or 2 players 'suspended' if we're using an 18-men squad. 2 or 3 players 'suspended' if we're using a 21+-men squad. Colt or you could do some random drawing to come up with the 'suspended' players. No 'keepers to be suspended.
- Players to play a maximum of 6 games consecutively.
- At least 3 (more or less) different formations to be used throughout the season.
I don't think rotation is a good idea. More hassle than it's worth in my opinion...
Well this' a way to keep the managers active. We've seen more than a handful who put a lineup in the formations thread and haven't been checking the FL forum ever since.
And of course, variety. League matches will be repeating themselves for the second half of the season, and I'm sure we won't wanna see teams using the exact same lineups they used previously against each other again.
It'll be more interesting to see what alternatives we can come up with, how we can tweak our teams to face the opponent, how we cope with a key player out injured etc.
Think about it guys :)
