Anyway how would the scorelines be presented guys? For we have to fill up the 'Goals For' and 'Goals Against' table.

My idea of it is this:

If the poll ends 65%-35%, then I think we should do this:

- Change it to 65 - 35
- Subtract 50: 15 - 0 (take negative scores as zero)
- Divide it by 10: 1.5 - 0
- Round up/down to the nearest whole number: 2 - 0

And that's the score.

As such, this is how much the winning team would score if they had these respective percentages:

>95%: 5-0 scoreline
85% to 94%: 4-0
75% to 84%: 3-0
65% to 74%: 2-0
55% to 64%: 1-0
<55%: 0-0


That means the losing team will score 0, and the winning team will score anywhere from 1 to 5. 0-0 is a possible scoreline too.

Your idea just slipped my mind ;)

But previously I did think of it before, when you first 'invented' it, but I thought it was an inconsistent way to judge scores. I mean if suddenly, possibly this league becomes so popular, and the votes are like 150-100, then... :D

Think we'll just check the freindly matches if there're gonna be some, and see roughly how many people vote, then do a table.

The only problem with my idea is the number of goals scored by the losing side. I have no idea on how to get that. Couldn't be like this:

5-0
4-1
3-2...

Not very good in my opinion.

Alright, I'm going to try and do this in as much detail as I can -
Scoring in the PESFL :
When you reach enough votes to get a goal, you may post, but only if you want, who scored. And the build up. How the keeper dove, where the ball went, who assisted, long ball, threw ball, chip, etc. This will not earn you cash as I won't care who scores, as long as I get the result of the game, (1-1, 1-0, 2-0, 3-5, etc)

Scoring in real life :
If you have a player on your team that becomes one of the top scorers in their league, top 3 I think I'll do, then I'll give you cash for a good pick. It won't be much, but a little bit to pay off a loan, to get that player, or to just keep for the next season to re-build.

Here's an idea.

List your outfield XI 2-11

Roll two dice, whatever it lands on that player scored. E.g you roll a 4 then Ferdinand has scored, roll a 9 and Adriano has scored. Simple.

2 sixes being void.

We used to do something like that with a baseball game, but we used a 20 sided dice and gave more numbers to the better hitters...b/c they were more likely to hit a homerun...
like in this, adriano is more likely to score than ferdinand so adriano would get 4 numbers and ferdinand just 1...

In this way number two (a defender) is not likely to score because there is only one way way to get two. But number 7, who is a more attacking player will have more combinations. Or you could put the most likely scorer at 7, the second and third most likely at 6 and 8, fourth and fifth at numbers 5 and 9 and so on. So it does work sort of.

Hey guys, I can help out with the drawing of scorers, since I'm almost totally free nowadays apart from school.

This' my idea. I'll be giving these players these number of 'cards':
1 card - Goalkeeper
2 cards - Defender
3 cards - Midfielder
5 cards - Striker

Then !'ll just write their names on their respective cards and do a draw for each goal score. Random and realistic that way.

So what do ya think of handing me the job?

Yes we did. But it just has profile's for people in the Champion's League (I think). All pics are about 100 x 100. For my other players, I looked on google for a good picture and then reduced it to the appripriate size.

This isn't confirmed. If it was I'd post it in a thread of it's own, etc.

THe idea is-
Wait for D2 to finish their rounds. As it'd be unfair to start picking again while they are still picking. We would start after they are done and we'd all start with the balances we have (unconfirmed), so basically it'll be a draw/pool type picking. There would be prices for each player, and you'd bid on them. Whoever had the highest bid would win the player.
The 18 players would be the max, while 15 would be in minimum. I wanted to say that if you drop below 15 players you'd be fined. As you would know when you are close to dropping and should be able to realize that you shouldn't sell/loan out a player, or do money for a player exchanges.

The idea here is to give you more players to play with. Make the smaller teams have the chances to buy bigger names and to get more players into the game.

The suggestion that every round opens at midnight and everyone just starts snatching...

I think it should be done like: Highway opens the thread any time of the day and you guys just go for the players. Opening at midnight is tedious and those here at that moment would be hugely advantaged.
