Betting for result after 90 minutes only.
i've gone the same way skipper. i can't see chelsea scoring, but can see barce getting maybe 2
Unbelievable odds if you ask me, I think Barca will win.
A draw just like the Liverpool match. Possibly 1-1. Gudjonsen and Eto'o to be on the scoresheet but Chelsea will get a disallowed goal and Mourihno will go crazy and get sent off again :p

I don't often disagree with you LiamK but that is so stereotypical it's unbelievable. It's changed a lot now. The Roma - Juventus game on Saturday was a prime example. It was end to end.
I feel that recently, Serie A has been a combination of England and Spain. All the pace and fury of the Premiership but with all the beautiful technique of La Liga.
Roma Vs Juve, as i say, was a perfect example of how the Italian game is taking a slight turn for the better...
It was my impersonation of the Barcelona fan's perspective.

I wasn't generalising, and if I was I'd hardly be complimentary to the Spanish league while criticising my own nation's league. Like I said at the start of that quotation, that was my impersonation of Barcelona fans.
They maintain that La Liga is the best and most exciting and judge other leagues on stereotypes, so that when they lose they can always claim they won the moral victory because they played the more exciting football - like that actually matters anywhere other than Barcelona.

When it was 3-0 in the first 20 minutes you would have thought Barcelona were gone, but instead Ronaldinho breathed live back into the Spanish side with 2 breathtaking away goals.
So at half time it's Chelsea 3 - 2 Barcelona, which means if the scoreline stays on like this, Barca will progress.

hehe great game by chelsea, their first 230 misn were incredible, then it was all barca, until the 10 points header by terry, i think they should shoot the man who should have marked him, i swear to god i saw him free before the corner was kicked and i folowed him with my sight becasue i knew he would make a header, i just didnt know it was gonna be perfect and a goal, great game, but damn, i lost my points :(, thank god its not real money :D.
And once again Terry is the hero with his 4th Champions League goal this season.
Chelsea might now go out all the way to win it... ;)

i think you are right, i can see only juve or bayern stand them specially bayern at home, their are a very solid team, but chelsea is unbelievable structured tactically and intelligent team.

i said before i didn't really like either of the teams but the way chelsea went through will raise a few eybrows around sapin and perluigi collina critics will say that he's helped alot england or a english team again i know there are alot of people who think this
annoyed that chelsea went through but barce have them selves to blame after missing a load of chances
loooks like it'll be up to madrid to fly the flag for the spanish clubs and hopefully meat chelsea along the way and beat them :D
I would rather Barcelona go through so at least there'll be one Spanish club in the next round and also, to distract them from the La Liga campaign.
But it seems that Chelsea are through after their brilliant showing, and every team would want to avoid them in the quarter-finals I'm sure.

That was the best game I've ever been to, ever.
After Cardiff I said I'd never go to a louder game, that quickly got proved wrong as well. Seeing the 'Carefree' started off at my area of the stand, quickly spread to the West Lower (!) who all got to their feets made me realise just how good the atmosphere for this game was going to be.
Unfortunately my throat is a bit lightweight, I was hoarse after the first 15 minutes, had to take a quick break but that soon went out the window 4 minutes later when Duff scored. Then it got a bit quieter until half time, when I bought some water, then it was back on for the other 45 minutes!
By the final whistle things really couldn't have been any better, then I saw the Barcelona players at the melee outside the tunnel. It was magnificent.
Eto'o playing the race card despite most of the stewards holding them back being of African descent themselves, then seeing him spit at the stewards/chelsea bench. Ronaldinho getting all mouthy and Riikjard launching himself in the Chelsea section, Barcelona fans hurling bottles onto the pitch and trying to attack the stewards...tut tut.
I thought Chelsea were the 'unclassy' ones? Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Johann Cryuff has proved himself to be another one of football's former masters who now unfortunately keeps his name in the papers by spewing out mindless controversial drivel.
I think it's perfectly apt how there's some controversy about our final goal, now Barcelona can feel cheated and claim the moral victory as usual. Of course, ignoring the fact that we were cheated when Drogba was sent off in the first leg, we even went a man down.
But don't worry Barca - trophies aren't important - it's the possession and stepovers that counts!
Carvalho, Cole and Cech - absolutely superb. All three's best ever games in a Chelsea shirt.

Sammy Eto'o is a coward.
He gets racism hurled at him almost every week in Spain and says nothing. Yet the first time someone says something racist in England (and don't forget it might not even have been a white person) he starts ranting and raving about it. The only reason he mentioned it here is because he knows that he can get someone punished in England for racism.
In Spain they would fine a club (worth hundreds of millions of pounds) £400! They wouldn't do anything about in Spain. He also knows that he can make accusations here because the racism won't get worse because he doesnt play in England week in week out. If he did make accusations in Spain then it would get worse because the Spanish fans would just get worse...

Actually E'too has been quite outspoken when it comes to racism in spain he's threatened many times to walk and in one case he actually started celebrating like a monkey and afterwards he said ''they treated me like a monkey so i acted like one'' i don't think he'd make something like that up
as for chelsea they say the et'oo is lieing but they could launch and investigation to see what happened if then nothing happened then et'oo will look the fool rather than chelsea just outright dismissing it
as for chelsea's goal the difference is drogba got sent off for dangerous play ,but carvalho just hooked valdes's arm to stop him getting to the ball
