I think the good team if you have a strong defense, Tall Defense-Middle-Fielder, play makers,1 vs. 1 Strikers, Fast Wing, Dribbler Player, a Goal Keeper with a high response Abilities and players with a good header

any team with costolo is a 10 in my books, no seriously 6.5 but u could be a 9 in no time...
I always to master leagues with real teams, but usually the bad ones, is it more fun to play with costolo and gang.

it's my off season and i'm getting rid of the * players. i like a super fast team, can anyone recomend me some young speed demons? i was thinking of getting another striker okubo(real mallorca). is robben good in the game? i want to get some established players with speed.

you cam make tour team with 1 Minute, not by seasons

first you must know that the Option save a different from the Master League save

ok now
go to the Edit move chose the 2nd option (Transefers) the chose the 2nd Option (transefers Club)
move all your players in one team

then exit the Edit move and DO NOT SAVE
go to the master League and chose the 2nd Option (to start with your current team)
and Save your Master League Team

go out and Load the Game

and all the Players will back to the Default teams + you will have your own Master League Team

Most of them have been reborn for only a couple of seasons so far and so are quite young, and still traning up. I have a host of other aging Legends too, but i like to only use them as subs sometimes, their just to damn good. Maradona + Gullit are god like when at their peak. I like the two powerful cf's up front, no-one can touch Vieri + Ronaldo when on a run, they have the two best balances in the game.:) I think i might have to replace C.Lopez as he is gettin on abit, might bring some new talent in (Henry retires this season:D)ol'faithful has been with me since the begginning though, i might just keep him for nostalgia's sake

As soon as i got the game i played on 5* until i unlocked 6* and ever since i have just played on 6* and i usally win most of my games, but i do have some games in which i might get my ass kicked or in which the other teams wins by one jammy goal.

I play on 6* too, anything other than that IMO, is not challenging enough.
But i currently have a very young team who are still developing, i win roughly 80% of all games. If it gets too easy for you, why don't you set yourself some targets for the season (i.e get 100+ goals, let no-goals in whole season, top-score/assist etc). On most games in my ML i just mess around and try to score beautiful goals:)
Also.. you can try and win every single trophy, including all the international cups, all the different leagues etc. Its nice to view your museum and be able to see all the cups:)

NiceTouch I've done all that on the PS2 version, I've now replaced my PS2 with an XBox, the only thing I play it for now is Master League, I would play live but the lag is pretty poor.

Is the buttons totally different for the xbox i mean from the ps2 buttons or is the same i no my friend has it for the xbox but ive never played on pro on the xbox.

The buttons are virtually the same except you only have two trigger buttons of course so :R2: and :L2: become the white and black buttons on the front of the controller pad I couldn't get used to this so I got the converter for a PS2 pad, much easier.

Why does everyone rate castolo so highly?

I played him in my first master league season and dropped him after about 5 games cos he was so frustrating.

Ok, he can head the ball but.......

Im sick of his gay slow turn, no pace, knocked off the ball easily, poor shot accuracy.......

i would give u 6.5 for ur team not bad for your 2nd season. Try and get Totti in mid-season transfer window on-loan.

Yeah get Obafemi Martins (Inter) 99 for pace and accelaration says it all..... a good left foot as well....

Id give 7/10 for ur team. class midfield, not so sure about the forwards and defence. Where did u get van den borre from?

Why does everyone rate castolo so highly?

I played him in my first master league season and dropped him after about 5 games cos he was so frustrating.

Ok, he can head the ball but.......

Im sick of his gay slow turn, no pace, knocked off the ball easily, poor shot accuracy.......

i would give u 6.5 for ur team not bad for your 2nd season. Try and get Totti in mid-season transfer window on-loan.

Not sure about Hilderbrand because I have had bad experiences, or Beasley for that matter, but 8.5/10 is fair, and depending on what season you are in and how the players have matured this could be a 9.5/10 because of the youth contingent!

Okay, I first had Barcelona with alot of youngsters, all better than Ronaldinho (even the defenders, so eventually I fired Ronaldinho ;))

I don't know what is happening but the 3rd season started off well, 1st match won with 6-0 and it was actually not a very good match. So I thought, these players can do better and I might actually make some 10-0's this year. The next match though was lost 2-0 and it was a total disaster. Next one was a draw 1-1 (Adriano, who replaced Kuijt after an hour or so, rescued the point)

Anyway, is it common that when you play better all your players start to suck so the "AI" can win games? I can't think of any other reasons because in the off-season I usually play the big teams and get easy wins 5-0 against Juve, 4-1 against Real Madrid but in the real season my team is having a hard time winning from teams like Roda JC and the like. It's very frustrating when you see Totti losing a duel with some semi-amateur player. I don't know but in my opinion with the transfers I made last stop (Totti, Nesta and the others) I should be able to at least win the Double (League Cup + League 1 Division) if not the treble because these players are all like at least +5/+10 at most stats but yet it seems more difficult... :S

Yobo improved a lot at the start for me but he starts to slow down progress before the 2nd season i found, hes a decent back-up player for me and his stats don't decrease. Im in my 6th season and I'm still waiting for the reborn Zola everyone says hes meant to be quality!

I have mixing young and just out of peak players.

Young players is on main games, with old players backing them up.

A quality AMF who can be better than most at that position, he starts to decline for about a year at 24 but then develops AGAIN and i'm guessing to be the best player on the game by the time he's 30

Strengths of my team include three fast and tall defenders. 2 tall dmf's, mathieu shot power is also about 97 now, really good tacklers. Komura, i've heard no-one ever mention, but is amazing crosser. Nasri is just the best amf cos of his passing but also shot accuracy. Rooney...well it's just rooney, he can skip past 3/4 players with ease but also be top scorer. Torres, amazing header of the ball and a wicked shot, he's my leading assister and second top scorer in league on 5*. Players with good balance are needed for a quality team which all mine have. No-one either is over 26 and all still progressing. 10/10?
