Actually both. It depends. I use the analog in corners or free kicks and digital in the game

That is the correct solution, yes. Thy way is the same as my way.

Personally I prefer the d-pad, only time I've used the analogue sticks is for the occasional manual pass and when in goal for pens. Some reason I save more with the analogue. ^^

I use analogue as its easier to whip in free kicks and corners. I played ISS from 1997 for the PSOne and had to use the D-Pad. Which was hard. Also you can only run in 8 directions and in a linear movement!

I find it easier to use the analouge, its more fluid.

analog is better because their is more variation in the direction u can aim the ball

No, not really. Konami hasn't implemented 360 degrees rotational movement yet.

I use the D-Pad because I find it more comfortable and the PS2 analogue sticks aren't exactly the best. I tend to use the left analogue stick for corners sometimes. I don't really have much qualms with the anlogue stick, and, if forced, could play with it. It's just a matter of getting used to it.

Of course, I use the right analogue stick for tricks and manual passing.

analog is better cause you don't haved to 'press' the d-pad for u to move and the analog you just move it in the direction u wanna go
