Who do you think Chelsea's first signing in January will be? Feel free to suggest new players.
I dont think Vieri becuase i inter wont let to top strikers leave the club. I would think some in the ranks of Shevchenko or Inzaghi.

Vieri is virtually the breath of Inter so I think there's little to no chance of them letting him go. And he's said that he wants a club where he can stay for a long time. That he has a dedication too. But you never know, if the money is right...
If the greedy swines still want someone, I'd be surprised if they added another midfielder to the fray. It's already packed to the brim.
I suppose they could add another striker to their list since 4 top-class strikers is never enough.
I think what they're really looking for now is a solid, experienced and, of course, world class defender to fill Desailly's boots. Nesta, Cannavaro maybe?

I agree with pictureperfect. It will be a defender. most probably Nesta and Cannavaro are the most popular but it could be Thuram or Montero also. the president in chelsea doesn't seems to bother about money

Im not sure if they will go back into the transfer market. They have set up a huge squad already and really ne signings there will b cup tied in europe and only b a use in the premiership. And to b honest i cant c that they need neone else in the team. They have huge talent all around the team and i cant c them needing to strengthen nemore. But i wouldnt put it past them spendign another load of cash

I'm pretty sure they'll be buying someone when the window opens again. It's reflected clearly in some of Ranieri's statements.
It all depends on how Chelsea are performing around Christmas time, if they are up in the title race and doing well in the cups I don't think they will spend again.
However if they aren't doing well apparently Roman is prepared to spend another 100 Million.
