Photoshop grrr outlining text

I've searched through the useless help files, I'm in Photoshop CS and all I need to do is put an outline round some text but can't for the life of me find how to do it!!?!?!?!?! Help! I'm so wound up right now! :realmad:

Wouldn't the simple 'Line Tool' work in this situation .

what are you suggesting that I have to go around the words with a line tool manually or is there a way of just applying it somehow? I mean I consider myself a photoshop whizz or at least I did until this happened haha, I've never had to do it before I guess
