I have seen him in Euro 2004 and in the Chelsea match and i think he is a great talented player!
Will he be the next best player in the world? :) :mellow:

no doubt he is going to be a really good player perhaps better than deisler for germany
Maybe so but deisler has had alot of problems outside of football, i think schweinsteiger needs to get out of the bundesliga to be noticed more.

yeah deisler situation is a difficult one but the only other place schweinsteiger would get noticed would be the premiership but all the top clubs have good players in his position and bayern are one of the best teams in europe
Yer he does look like good player he plays with alot of intelligence i like him one to watch for the future i think.
yer i think he will be.... but like alot of Germans (Effenberg, Basler) has some sort of an arrogant attitude problem i've heard

hmmm......best player?...don't think so. there are many talented played his age who already make a difference in their teams. if he want to become good, he has to play with the big clubs

oh sorry, i meant he has to play against the big clubs, and oftenly. not every so and then in the CL and bayern munich are not what they used to be. i would now define them as average

I havent watched this boy regularly but everytime i see him he performs very well. But i dont think he will be one of the best in the world, but Im almost sure he will be a very good player. And Bayern wont let him go, they are always searching for the next great german player. Bayern doesnt seem to like building teams around foreigners, maybe this is the reason they recent fall of quality: the drought of german good youngsters.

schweiny, well......... from what i saw at euros, he's tenacious (i saw him like a german rooney talented like him 2) but i gota see more of his play.
Does he play offensive mf, left midfield or in the no10 hole as 1/2 striker?
I thought he would be good at arsenal a while back but that was just out of rooney jealousy (imagine the rivalry if the 2 were recognised as the best youngster and 1 played 4 ARSENAL and the other UNITED...tasty!!)

like a german rooney having a laugh not only does rooney play upfront he scores a lot more and his just plain better

its definately true that they try to build their tema around germans. they are trying to buy robert huth who look s like he is going to be a great defender, but you have to say there are better defenders in the world at that age they could buy!
as for bastian he goes into the same boat as ballack, to be a great he as to leave the budesliga and go to italy, spain, or the EPL

what they cant handle is the pace of the game in the premier league and how tough it is to play in cause you get fre kicks for most things abroad but not for much in the premier league

at euro 2004 he seemed to have a bit of an ego (held onto the ball for too long, tried too many long shots). Would have to get this out of his game to be considered anywhere near one of the better players around
