There are no rules against changing your formation as you wish. :)
If you have any sense, it is probably best to rest 2 of your strongest 11 in each game. So maybe that's what he's doing.

Yeah, it was Dundons' team, but he quit, so we're taking over for now and waiting for a suitable manager to come along and then hopefully they'll take it.

9. Colt---------2-------0------0-----2------1------6----...-5------0
10. Muad-------2-------0------0-----2------1-------6----...-5-----0
This' getting real scary man, if I didn't get a draw then it'll be five teams with perfect records and the other five with the opposite.
Maybe this has been suggested before I don't know but here goes, I think all of this would be more fair if someone hosted the games instead, but the game would have to be a default optionfile except for the teams players and and team names etc...
Sure it would be alot of work but this thing is soo easy to cheat on..
Just a suggestion..

wrong again, there are plenty of great members that vote, it keeps us as part of the community, there is a rule that you need to have at least a certain number of posts to vote tho
Oh, well how many?
And what if a bunch a' newbies decide to ruin the whole shit and spam up the whole poll?
EDIT: On second thought, the latter isn't going to happen..

Poffeman, if you don't like the Fantasy League, why were you so eager to join? This is based on real life and our own opinions of players, not how Konami decide to rate players. You knew how this worked, if you want to go create some PES5 simulator with little or no interaction whatsoever from managers, in a format which could open up a greater chance of cheating, then do so, but we've been doing it this way for long enough and with enough entertainment to not think about changing now.
I do like it it was just a suggestion...

I use it quite a lot at work, so tomorrow i'll check the database and try and figure the best way of doing it.
It could work as a tally and have a total that automatically updates each time you update the table, so we can easily see how many appearances each player has made.

We could have it as an attachment and post it as a thumbnail (when clicked it enlarges to proper size). I was thinking of starting to post the League table using Excel so it's nicely presented. They should also be small enough to take screenshots.

I think this would be a Draw, therefore with RoP losing I voted for the team.
why do people vote like this?
aren't you supposed to vote for who you think will win?
the score always changes sooo much that when the votes are final your vote doesn't count like you think...
two people voted against me b/c they wanted a tie in the match against barry, i ended up losing by 4, those two votes going my way wouldve caused a tie
i guess i don't get the rules

You may not have been calling me out but your still acting silly. The next person who thinks it will be a Draw clearly won't vote as its already tied. Then the next 2 people will vote for RoP as they think it will be a win so thats that.
And to take this FL too seriously is pathetic I'm afraid. Take it serious 'enough' yes but don't go over board with it, have fun and try not to take a strop over other peoples opinions.

Yes, and if you think it is a draw and player A is leading by 3 votes or so, I don't see why you shouldn't vote for player B to make it a draw. So going by you're logic if we think its a draw we shouldn't vote. Ok... lets look forward to the boring 0-0's and 1-0's then.

So now your not being serious ?
You may have been making a point, but it was clearly a silly one, obviously if a team is trailing and you think they deserve a Draw you will vote for them. It is common sense, and more in the interest of fairness.
Its not about being right or wrong, its about matter of opinions which you seem to be having problems accepting at this moment. What idea is this ? Nobody vote if they think its too hard to call ?

I'm happy to do the tables full time if you and James are cool with it. Me and my flatmate are currently trying to create a macro that will enable the tables to pretty much auto-update, but it'll take a little while. If that doesn't work then i'll just make it look pretty and fill it out by hand/simple formulae. She (flatmate) does computer science so there's a good chance we can get it nailed. Of course when I say we, what I mean is she'll do the hard work while I work out a colour scheme

This has been a good week for voting, only been up for just over 24 hours, and some have had almost 25 votes :shocking:
:realmad:
Don't get me started boy!:ninja:
Last weeks voting was pretty quiet, has impressed this week though.
I can't believe I'm losing by 1 vote.. :crymore:

It's the scoreline that matters, tied at 13 all now anyway, and there's 24 hours left.
3-3, possibly the highest scoring game ever.
I remember some people saying that Zidan couldn't score up on his own, haha.
Hat-trick.

Whoa, just finished voting. Lots of good games this weekend. Thanks to anyone who took the time to vote too.
I agree, this week has been astonishing for votes. Extremely popular, imagine if its like this every week from now on. Would be excellent. :w00t

I think this section is quickly becoming the most popular on Saturdays and Sundays, even Tuesdays in the future possible. Good work everyone. ;)
